I'm surprised 11th and Blink are so high up the list

Love the episode but didn't think much of the inconsistancies of her character. Most of all I didn't like the treatment of Mickey

Great article, One of the best Doctors and I wish he could have stayed on a while as well. The one line that always blows me away as it's such a perfect way to see the Doctors true compassion. "Just this once, Everybody lives"

Here's to atleast another 10 years.

When RTD was asked to review Rose after all these years his criticisms were very strange indeed :)

Rose's Pink bedroom (which I didn't even take notice of)

Mickey's little dance (wtf)

You can't see Nelsons column (double wtf)

A see through plastic bag for the lotto. "It’s simply not the sort of bag you’d collect lottery money in":RTD (Now I know he's taking the piss)

Nothing about burping garbage bins or why would Rose take a plastic arm all the way home with her etc.

Gotta love the guy though

That scene with Rory in AGMGTW would be hilarious If it wasn't supposed to be taken seriously, So bad it's almost good :)

What great article and so true. He paved the way for all the actors who took on the role and I just wish more of his stories were found. Legend :)

Easy, DOTD. As others have said the Weepers were pretty well ruined by later appearances so Blink is just a tad dated now. Besides how could the best episode be a Doctor lite?

Vincent and 11th Hour get an equal score from me as they both lose it towards the end, The 11th with that dreadful speech and Vincent with the OTT sentimentalism.

The Name of the Doctor, Flawed but better than the other option.

Listen, as it was actually different and new :)

I must say this is the silliest poll I've ever seen. The fact that TDW, MOTOE and Flatine have been knocked out sort of ruins it for me.

Great article, Love that era of Who:)

"The production values of the show have been better than the Classics, the special effects and also in some instances the monsters from week to week"

I have to disagree here however. I will admit that modern special effects are better but that doesn't diminish the effort and skill used back in the day. The production values I would consider on equal par and the monsters in classic who were mostly far superior than now, Adipose, Slitheen, Racnoss etc.

Th music in the show seems to be getting more intrusive every season. It's so annoying when you can't hear the dialogue because of the raucus noise overwhelming everything. I find that when the music compliments an episode It hardly registers and just becomes an integral part of the story.

TNOTD isn't a bad episode but Flatline is just outstanding. One of the best episodes ever made and I don't say that about the new series very often :)

@Classicalbeau Have faith in the massive talent Peter is blessed with. I don't think Moff would be pretentious enough to give him acting lessons and I'm sure Peter wouldn't listen anyway :)

This a good article and your thoughts on the 12th mirror my own. From his first moments on screen I was enamored with the new Doctor simply because it was obvious that he didn't hate himself any more. Others have said that he is darker whereas I didn't see that, I saw a fresh new Doctor who was back to doing the job in hand and stuff what others think.

A Good Man Goes to War but only because it has to be one of them. I think it's only slightly less silly but this series was full of sillyness.

@Deus_Ex_Machina Would love them here as well but I can Imagine they would do the same as everyone else. Show the same old cliched locations like Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Uluru etc. which would annoy the hell out of me. We have places like Kakadu, Pilbara, Lord Howe Island, the Daintree and on and on.

I'm actually shocked about this. As you said, It's only a stones throw from Wales and we do get sick of seeing the same quarries. I imagine that politics played it's part in the Classic series but why haven't they been there in the new series?

And there was me wanting them to film in Australia, I don't think it will ever happen :(

He started off great with TUD and TIL but then he hit bottom with VOTD. His episodes have slowly improved since then but never reaching the quality of his first attempt. I enjoyed ROS until the resolution  so going by that his next one should be better still. Here's hoping :)
