Great Article! Everytime I see his eyes, though, on the Dr Who Tv heading....

I was going to say that Matt was written the best, but then I just remembered, it's Matt's performance that outshines the dialogue. It's Peter that seems more direct, more serious, more intact and has a complete lack of patience!

Thanks everyone for your comments. And thanks Dr Who Tv for posting it. I don't know where the show is going, but I know it's going to be (to quote a certain leather-jacket character) Fantastic!

I think Moffat has alot of room to explore all the monsters used in the past three years.

I think Clara should have a gruesome death. Because she is such a show pivotal character, the risks must be high for the Doctor to be in a sense of insecurity.

I love how its quiet..... oh Moffat.... silent night.

Some people actually believe the Master is completely gone? Wow. Okay. But though I had wanted Osgood to stay, it did really shift how things were. Missy was able to bring the right kind of serious freakishness to the character.

@cdave77 Well if I was to see, with the way technology is heading, i'd be fanfreaking and saying "it's IRON MAN?!?!"

@TheBlueDiary Yeah..... it's a hug that comes from an interesting angle. You'll see.
I actually thought the 12th had this Valeyard vibe when he started to hit the TARDIS after not finding it, he looked so angry and his face really showed a great side to it.
@impossibleantigravgirl The Doctor lied so he could make her feel compelled to stay with Danny and vice-verca with Clara, she lied to make him stay on Gallifrey.
It would be so funny and yet very risky yet adventurous to have both Missy and Seb to be two-sides to the Master. Or perhaps just have Seb being her companion. Now that the Master is a female, she won't have that manly attitude for not bringing companions.

@Gustaff I'd say he would be showing off like: "This is the most awesomiest or awesomer key in the whole universe. You'd need lava to destroy it."

@GioCiampa I'm sure I heard a little drop, then nothing. Unless that lady picked it up fairly quickly then tried wondering how to use it. Explains a little.......
For some reason it feels and looks quite similar to Hungry Earth.

I think it is a running thread that might climax at the end of the series. Remember, although it has been some time running about with this incarnation, the Doctor doesn't know who he is yet. And that's what I find interesting, instead of going for an Eleventh Hour approach at saying this is your new Doctor, this year they take things slow and pace him out through the series. Also, 10th Doctor hated salutes yet the 11th saluted twice or more in his era. So it could differ between incarnations likings. But this solider theme has been accross many episodes, so it probably has to do with something much bigger: like I was saying, we don't know this Doctor yet.

I disagree. I found that Danny could symphysis with Clara because he had a similar experience. And what he meant by "or we're done" kinda signals off that this is very important. He knows how fun yet dangerous this kinda of stuff is, seeing Clara run down the halls with a robotic mad machine after her, it's super dangerous. At least he is allowing her, but to set boundaries. Burn-Out.

I wonder if it was Moffat who put that little bit in there. Reminds me of Sherlock and the guy that looks like Sherlock.
The inclusion of Missy looking rather horrified/stressed/busy actually makes me understand kinda why she wasn't in the last few episodes. She looked quite different from how we did see her before.
Okay. The picture for Number 7: The Doctor is the Architect, the Doctor looks like the Valeyard.

Great episode- I think personally, this is what makes the series. Everyone should know that with nearly all series, there are some good episodes and some average episodes. IN other occasions, bad episodes. But I LOVE series 8 because most are above average, and Time Heist is certainly above! Poor Matt, that line about wearing the bow-tie..... very funny!

@simon delafield @cyberbrayde @Mockridge In the first place the original first draft was dark. But then he added the banter between Robin and the Doctor, then it ended up being very light. When the episode was shot, Mark was surprised at how light the whole episode was. Quick shocking!?
5 months, 2 weeks ago on The Caretaker BBC Synopsis
@Mockridge Yes. I think the reason why The Lodger topped off Robot of Sherwood is because Mark Gaitss didn't realize his script was funny in the first place. Humor was unintentional and was the side-effects. The Lodger, was, oh my gosh, so funny. I don't think JC (James Corden) would suit the new Doctor though:( Wish JC and MS do some comedy thing in the future.
Okay. I'm getting a little bit upset- the last three episodes have all shown publicity photos with the wrong costume of the Doctor. I'm not THAT angry, but it's getting on my nerves.

I know some people who think that this might be like the Power of Three, not much was known kind of thing. But honestly, Listen is different. It just feels different, and overpowering. The trailer looks much better than TPOT, and the tone is quite serious and dark and gruesome- everything we need. I think the darkness of this episode is going to make us forget all about the brilliant, Robot of Sherwood. As much as I loved the darker episodes, Deep Breath and Into the Dalek, I think we need some light enriching moments like Robot of Sherwood along the journey.

I think she really suits being a teacher, an educator. It gives her a sense of Authority to the Doctor, and I love how the Doctor tells Clara "aint that right teach?"

Deep Breath, without a doubt, was the best refresh since the Eleventh Hour. You could actually feel the change shift, everything feels different again and Doctor Who. I am saying that 12 did kill the Half-Faced Man, no doubt, he DID kill him. The following episodes cla- hang on. What if that was there for a reason, for us to guess if he did or not, and it slowly gave us the opinions each episode until we realize who is the main villain. The Eleventh Hour DID beat Deep Breath though.

And what about the other companion-like student, what's her name? Courtney? The girl who jokes, ‘She wishes!’ when the School Secretary is trying to flirt with Danny. And when being the incredibly rude student to Clara Deep Breath. I think she's going to be great, I didn't so much like Angie and Artie. But Courtney feels super confident, that she can get Clara to crack, or be able to get the secretary upset.

Its as if he is a broken solider who needs a Doctor.
@panicstation Actually Peter was saying how a director told him that they should have the TARDIS materialize but don't show it, and Peter got very angry about it. It's perhaps the most iconic thing about the TARDIS. But we know that Peter is against not having that effect, and really wants it put in. However, I said the same thing to other people and they say look out, it's coming... more sooner than you think. Make of it, cause I'm not so sure.

That paragraph called Danny the Solider. I just made this up, Danny the Solider Nanny? No.... Dan the Solider Man? Daniel the Manuel.
@dancedj2k It takes time. But honestly, I think Capaldi looks as if he's done Doctor Who for years. Whereas Matt looked absolutely fresh. The next episode should be pretty light though.
6 months, 1 week ago on Rate & Discuss Into the Dalek
@MaddyKika According to the BBC about facts of the episode, a solider named Ross is more likely to die in his episode. Quite funny and interesting, and yet sad for any Ross.
Mark said that he wanted this episode to be very dark in nature, however for some odd reason, this is the lightest and funniest episode of the series. I think he found that amusing himself.

My favorite quotes. "AM I A GOOD MAN" brings about Clara's Day of the Doctor intro- waste no time arguing what a good man is. Be one. The Doctor when saying that he wasn't really called the Doctor until he met the Daleks on Skaro. Which makes absolute sense! You can't have Doctor Who without the Daleks.
@The Lazy Cat I've got to say, that smile at the end was intense!
@The Finn If I can remember correctly, I think it was Radio Times or Doctor Who Magazine, something about Lasagna being the best line in the episode.

I see into your soul Doctor, I see beauty, I see divinity, I see hatreeeeeed. Perhaps the Doctor does a psychic link with the Dalek (as heard from Deep Breath, a piano more like)
The “oo-ee-oo”s are awesome people. It's mysterious, its pretty damn freaky I admit. God, they are freaky. It's interesting. I quite like "The Snowmens" oo-ee-oo's, I don't know why they changed it to Series 7 Part 2's. But now I'm and more than happy (and enthusiastic upon hearing it for the rest of the series) about that part. My only problem, the beggining. It's meant to open and prepare the titles, but I find it a little bit too out-of-bit. It's too slow and too fast at the same time. I think Billy said it was the winds of time. I think it should be a little bit slower, yet don't run straight into the clogs so fast as soon as its finished. Love everything else, I didn't notice how HD that face (eyebrows) of Capaldi would be in the titles too.

@Jaylcookie Also. It's best to surround the Doctor with familiar settings, but see how he'll react. It also gives fans the chance to slowly ease into this new era.
@XanderH I'm from NZ and we don't struggle with it. I'm not sure about Americans though. So far, they could.

@The 14th Doctor Might be a spoiler (COULD BE SO MAKING LONGER THING FOR NOTHING RANDOMNESS) but the radio times have a quote that uses Question a few times. He says Question, Conjecture, Proposition. I've also heard that Listen begins with the Doctor being a full on professor, a lecturer. Could be interesting? Of cause! It's Capaldi, it can't not be interesting!

I still love The Eleventh Hour, that's still hard to top off. However. Deep Breath managed to top it off. It's the atmosphere I loved, though I didn't like the director's style. It's still great, the writing is epic, the CGI is great. It's not fairytale-ish anymore, it's back to basics. It's new, it's stark. It's like "here, have a spoon of cement and harden up." I loved the Half-Man, someone who's trying to rebuild himself over and over. It's a reflection of the Doctor. Alot of what the Doctor said in Deep Breath had double-meanings, and that dinosaur translating is seriously good. What did I think about it? I feel sad for the 12th Doctor. Many people didn't like him, he's gotten a bit too old they'd say. I don't want the fanbase to fall. Not after 50 years. It's awesome. It's epic. Doctor Who was great!

@DavrosLives I saw somewhere this: Promised Land= Gallifrey. It's pretty funny, because the Doctor said "I think it's time you knew; there isn't one." It may be cool if it were the timestream, but I don't think so. Apparently it's because of an organization called 3W. It's starting to sound like Army of Ghosts sorta-vibe.
