@ErikVoldengen I agree. After he messed up his peddle and Tim Johnson got away I don't think he cared much anymore. He was there to race Trebon, Johnson, and Powers - nobody else. Anything but the top step is probably meaningless to him after four national titles. I just hope it all comes together at Worlds. The course should suit him well. If it all comes together he should be the best places American and in the top 10.

I don't put much weight on what @davedtowle said about Page. He is a great commentator and I love when he does races but what does he really know about international cyclocross racing? He probably just follows the US circuit for cross. He probably doesn't realize how important it is that Page lives and races in Belgium instead of the rest of the top US cross racers. Anyone that knows how important that is would realize that Page should be a lock on the US world cross team. Page had a rough season last year but still came out to win US nationals. That talent doesn't just disappear because you become a year older. In my opinion he is the best American to ride at worlds if he is healthy. At the very least he is surely one of the top four Americans with Powers, Trebon, and Johnson. There is absolutely no way that Page does not deserve his spot.

@doperssuck @davedtowle @thejonathanpage- I am a big fan Colt and love all your shows. That being said, I don't really understand what you have against JP. The guy has dedicated himself like no other American by living and racing in Belgium. @timjohnsoncx @ryantrebon @timjohnsoncx will never be able to compete for a podium over there unless they live and race there. I love watching them race in the US but you have to admit our races are way under par versus the world cup races. JP would have been the best placed American at Louisville last year and probably a top 10 if not for mechanicals. JPow admits he can't win in the mud, only winning 1 ever. I am a big fan of JPow but I don't see how he can come close to a top 15 at Worlds. If you honestly don't think Jonathan Page is our best chance Worlds you don't know what your talking about. Which I know is not true. So I ask again, What is your problem with Jonathan Page? Please, everyone wants to know.
