im not aggressively active in helping the environment but I try to do my part and not be stupid about things. this was crushing to think about all at once. we really need to get our act together as humans beings.
I do have a lot of faith in my generation, the 80's and 90's kids. Call them hipsters and what not, they are a lot smarter and goodhearted than the old sad men and women say of them. It wont be easy but I think people will save this crazy fucking planet.

as a huge kubrick fan i loved this documentary... some of it must be untrue, and some of it is bad interpretation, but after reading and seeing a lot on Kubrick, I personally do believe he meant to put hidden messages in the film...
and the thing about native americans is almost not even hidden, the hotel is built on an indian burial ground, the native american decor, the axe... the ideas basically came from the immense research he does on all his work that gives him the idea to use these things... but this doesn't NECESSARILY mean thats the end all meaning of what this movie is about... Im sure its about a little bit of many things.
