@Fish Head @Hifi75 @4thcolapse @Coldincowtown  Very good points Fish Head. If we were to go with ROR then Bozak would have to go

@Fish Head @Hifi75 @4thcolapse @Coldincowtown  See to me ROR is not a 1C but a more responsible Kadri type. As for the Avs I could see them wanting a anchor to play with Johnson when he is back and some potential in a 1st, Biggs offers 3rd line grit and Bozak is the fringe 2/3C

Duchene would be hard to pry from them for sure, but It allows two good horses up the middle and a strong pairing on D. They could ask for something different than Bozak like Kadri or JVR which to be honest would make it harder to swallow....but I would do it as long as we got picks this year like a 2nd and 4th

@4thcolapse @Coldincowtown  A franchise changing move would be the coveted 1C we need. Sorry but I don't se ROR as that for us and the AVS potentially have 2. I would love to see Phil play along aside Duchene (no way they give up Mackinion). Problem is how do we much up in trade?

I would try and see if they would bite with Dion,Bozak,Biggs and a first in 2016

for

Duchene and Stuart

Well not much in terms of consistency last night. Unless the return of the key stone cops routine is their level of consistency

Again, I am looking for the consistency of play. I am eating a bit of humble pie and stating that their has been solid play the last 3 games. I want to see more of that, before I say they have turned the corner. Dare I say it, they do seem to be carving out a team identity latley with a higher compete factor Go Leafs Go. Leo and Clarkson and Polak have been difference makers so far

@peterbleafs  Problem with that is Kozun and Lupul are hurt for awhile. Carrick called up today and Percy sent down.

Winnik Kadri Kessel

JVR Santorelli Clarkson

Holland Bozak Komarov

Ashton Carrick Frattin

those are the lines I would like to see tonight, allow Holland to play wing with Bozak and see what happens

I'd like to see of our leafs play like hounds on the puck. Hit like beasts along the boards. And quickly fetch the puck and get out in the defensive Zone

I am hoping they prove me wrong and play consistent to win. If they cycle a lot and JVR, Clarkson, Lups and Leo crash the net more they should win, big if but 4-2 Leafs.

If not then could be a big loss

I must of missed that. I would go with Bernier myself because of the speed CBJ and Riemer for Chi

From what I said below we get the most value from those two. Each can change a slight complexion of the game. Our issue is where to the rest of the team stack up in terms of equal value

Reimer is a battlier type kinda in the hasak and cujo mould. Where as Bernier is more the Moog and Belfour style.

I expect a strong calming positional game from Bernier.

I expect a emotional high energy game from Riemer that can pump up your team

Where would the team be now without the early season play of the 3rd line

I think the value we get from Reimer and Bernier is great. The problem is the amount of various pressure put on them. In other words I don't believe any other goalie could di much more than they do. Price may win a game or two more but will not change how the team plays in front him

No matter if they did when last night. My concern is still with players who have Come out saying the same thing as last year and the year before, we have to be better and the compete level needs to go up. Pure poison to a locker room on morale

I need to see consistent effort for a dozen games before that opinion changes

@T K O @docmma  even if they win the game it will not change the optics of the culture. This team needs to go on a roll where they win 15 out of 20

@Mitch92 @Hifi75 @Leafs_17  I am not a fan of his...but I believe also they put him in a position to fail as captain....I would do that trade and even add Holland and Ashton plus a 1st in 2016

@sharkbabysitter @Hifi75  Can we afford to wait for the summer. I would hate to see a more divided team that keeps very openly questioning their degree of compete

3 weeks, 4 days ago on Monday Mashup: Picking up where they left off

@sharkbabysitter @Hifi75  That's why I think it's both. IMO your core players the last 2years have tuned RC out somewhat. Even changing the coach would not fix it, nor would a trade. Both need to be done to change the culture. If we go for a hire within then go with Horachek

3 weeks, 4 days ago on Monday Mashup: Picking up where they left off

If your Shanny wouldn't you want to make a bold statement and fire RC and also make a core type trade (I say Shanny because I believe the leash on Nonis is getting tighter by the second.

My question is who coaches, do you get one of the Asst. to fill in or hire a Blysma, Boucher. Another gap filler could be Dale Hunter for the rest of the year

3 weeks, 4 days ago on Monday Mashup: Picking up where they left off

I refer to their confidence in this case. It seems they are constantly suffering from the lack of it

3 weeks, 4 days ago on Monday Mashup: Picking up where they left off

I am glad they sent Percy down. When players are still questioning the compete level of others things are bad. What's worse is that we have heard about how the culture on this team needed to change since the melt down against the Bruins. It continues even after we bring in Leo,Polak and Robidas. IMO we have tarnished potential on players like Gardnier, Naz, Ashton,Riemer and a few others. Don't want to see that with the next wave of youngsters. I hope it will not effect Rielly
