Milwaukee gave JJ a very warm standing ovation when he entered the game.  We are all really excited to have this player and this man as a part of our team.

We'll be good to JJ, Ayon & Smith and you take care of Beno, Harris & Lamb for us, okay?

Actually, I think this story is funny.  Carlos and Manu will be poking fun of each other over this for a long time to come.  These guys are sharing a little piece of themselves and their friendship with everyone and I like it.  I miss Carlos in Milwaukee this year.  Miss that smile from ear to ear during interviews, even if I couldn't understand a word he said.

@paloftheworld I agree with your analysis of the situation.  I don't think that the show is rigged, but it would not surprise me if there was talk of Max & Hope need to go.  It would be just like Max to use that to get Hope to side with him.  That whole thing was weird and I think Max & Hope was a match from hell.

I'm looking forward to seeing Harris play this season.  His weight redistribution and positive summer league experience could give him a confidence boost which helps him react more quickly on defense.  He has had relatively little coaching, training, practice and playing time.  This season he'll have the rookie year he should have had last year, but was cut short with the lock out.  He's moving in the right direction and Skiles will make sure he doesn't stray!

I'll give Larry credit for one thing... in the face of adversity (like 7 guys in white jerseys taking shots at him) he wasn't going to back down.  If he could just channel that scrappy nature of his in a more constructive manner, he could be legendary!  I heard Duleavy offered to tutor him just  so he could play against Pacers again.

Beno's strong leadership at PG was evident when he played with the rookies and got them to make good plays.  It's easy to look good when surrounded by good players...just as BJ what he thinks about that statement!  Beno does a great job of keeping continuity when players are substituted.  His contribution is really important and I'm glad that he will be playing this year.

Seems voters tend to give marks for "potential" which would account for Udoh up 75 slots and Dunleavy drop 25 slots.  Marking players down as they age is just the nature of the beast in professional sports.  Can't wait for the games to begin!

We don't HAVE to get rid of anyone!  We don't have any outrageous contracts by NBA standards.  Gooden is paid $6M, not $20M.  Let the rookies and veterans work (practice) together and Skiles will reward the players with the most effort and best Bball IQ get the minutes.  If production drops off, your minutes will drop off.  He doesn't punish rookies for being rookies any more than he rewards veterans for being veterans.  I like this mix and I'm looking forward to seeing the cream rise to the top!

I enjoy reading about the contributions of professional athletes.  Their stories should be told more often.  We analyse their game stats and performance on the court or field endlessly, but I thinks it's important to humanize them also.  When we see them interacting with interest and compassion toward others, we will be more likely to feel some compassion for their struggles.  Hats off to these guys for spending their precious time off helping others.

NBA players that struggle to just be "good enough" can warm the bench for a while, but are soon replaced by the ones that find meaning in struggling to be the best.

There are teams that have pulleys but there is something magical about watching a team push that bolder up the hill, even if they don't quite reach the top.  Only one team will win the trophy, but that doesn't make the rest of the players in the league losers.   They love to play the game and be the best that they can be.  I like to share in their growth and success.

@andyxc13 When you don't know what you are talking about, you just guess the team will stay where they were.  I read another "analysis" that said Bucks will stay same because they lost the offense contribution of Bogut this year.  Sure, Bogut contributed on offense, but last year he only played 12 games and Bucks didn't have legit center to stop opponents from scoring at will.  On the bright side, if all the other teams think Bucks are same team, it could be another Fear the Deer year!

@BuckNuggets Player development should be better for these guys if they have an opportunity to practice and play with some experienced centers and power forwards. (Something that Larry Sanders got very little of)  I have no problem with the strategy of teaching and bringing these young guys along.  They'll get playing time as they can handle it.  You are concerned that Skiles won't give the rookies playing time, yet I've seen Skiles bench plenty of veteran players in favor of younger players too.  If the worst thing that happens to this team in 2012-13 is that they ALL stay healthy and have to share minutes, then I'll be a happy camper fan!

By my count, Buck's roster at 13.  Przybilla makes 14.  Delfino or other replacement would make 15.  We don't have to get rid of anyone and still have room for that SG/SF three point scoring, dunking & defensive monster!

Agree that it's going to be a huge loss if Squad 6 is no longer leading the cheers & jeers!  I think it's important for the team and Bucks organization that someone continue what Bogut started.  They come up with some beauties from time to time. People flock to have their picture with them during breaks. I pay top $$ to sit close to them and those seats are always occupied.  Even TV coverage shows Squad 6 at every game and that plays well across the NBA.  Puts the fear in our rivals. Letting that go is a step in the wrong direction.

It's all about match ups.  Harris can play against some SF and start against those teams, but I'll bet you when it comes to defense against Lebron, Durant, Pierce, and Carmelo, Skiles will and should put LRMBM in to challenge them.  Harris may learn to play against these guys, but right now my money is on the prince.

Batman IMAX was most enjoyable.

I understand why Hammond might not call Delfino if he is waiting to see how Harris and Henson play in SL.  He's the GM...he has to make him an offer or tell him he's not going to make an offer.  He was probably hoping that someone would make Carlos an offer.   If Carlos got offer for $8M from another team do you think he would be worrying about JH feelings?  That's probably the least favorite part of the GM job...feelings on both sides get hurt.  I like Carlos...the Bucks front office and coaches like Carlos, but the roster and salary is limited so choices have to be made.

Looking at everyone hovering over FA players like a bunch of vultures, I feel all the better for Hammond having secured the Bucks a good center.  If Ersan walks I think we still need a legit power forward with some experience.  Brandon Bass would look good in a Buck's uniform...it's as close to Celtic uni as any.  I love Delfino interviews (even though I can't understand a word) and will miss him if he goes.  He's had injury problems the last two years and I would be okay with him staying at the right price.  With the lock out last year, we don't know what we've got with the young guys, but this year will tell us a lot.  Go Bucks!
