@C-Wil Also Varejo and Barbosa. If that team's healthy, it's a good test.

@C-Wil Who's on Brazil? Splitter, Nene?
@milussss @Jameswade99 I wouldn't do it, that's just what it would take.
@OBoymuzik Wish Cole smashed like that.
Ok, that was silly.
@Jooseppi @MisterJohnsonOKC This is a better team than those were.
We probably don't Davis to take that shot on this team.
I think we're gonna win.
@MisterJohnsonOKC @DavidMN @persiansooner13 Rose, Westbrook, LeBron, Wade, Durant, Kobe, Howard, Dirk, Parker, Rondo. Who's he better than?
@persiansooner13 Yes, he is. He's not top 10.
This is a fun box score. http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=280406025
Kobe, taking terrible shots.
Anyone have a box?
@persiansooner13 C'mon man, maybe in a few years when KD's a little older and more mature.
That was a hardcore, primetime ad for Summer League.
KD's the best player on this team.
GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!
Durant is gross.
@ILikePancakes Horford is legit.
Kevin fixes things.
Marquez should start for the Thunder. He'd at least know his role is to get KD the rock! #skipbayless

Here's a horrible grainy video of Hollis's biggest career highlight as a Hoya, hitting a FILTHY 3 for the win on the road at #12 Alabama on ESPN. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eD_UU-XLDYQ

@TaoMaas Hahaha, Jeff was much better, but sure!
@jeffori He's not great on D, but at least Georgetown played primarily man to man during his time there. He has the length and athleticism to be an adequate defender, but needs to add strength. Not a ball hawk though. Will never be a "good" defender, but average could be attainable.
@bmuelle21 Hahaha, that's actually nasty if true!
@bmuelle21 Did you shoot 45% from 3 for your career in the Big East.
@AllDae @Lost Ones Tell that to Olowakandi
@dancassidy35/FreeFestusFromGSW! You're all welcome! I'm happy to answer any questions about his game anyone might have. As you might imagine, I'm extremely excited about this development! Us Hoya fans thought he was gonna lose his shot at the NBA because of this sports hernia.

Alright, I'm a Georgetown alum and massive Hoya fan, so let me give you all my scouting report on Hollis Thompson, as someone who's seen every game of his college career.
If you leave Hollis open, he will absolutely make you pay with his jump shot. That's the most important thing about his game, the kid is an absolutely dead eye shooter and he's made that three for buzzer beater wins. He has an issue with passivity on the court, but that won't be a problem given the role he's been asked to handle. Oddly, he's not a good FT shooter, Hoya fans were never sure why that was. I assume its mechanical and will be corrected by the coaching staff. His handle is very suspect for the next level; this is something he'll need to work on. He has the length and athleticism to be a good defender, but was never tasked with shutting down an opponent's best option as a Hoya (that was always senior guard Jason Clark). He is a solid rebounder for his position, moreso on the defensive end than the offensive one. He's a strong passer, as is everyone who comes out of JT3's princeton-style system. (JT3, the coach of Georgetown, used to coach Princeton and Pete Carrill, the inventor of the passing-centric princeton offense is one of his biggest mentors.)
Hollis Thompson is a very smart kid, he was rumored to have the highest grades and SATs of a Georgetown scholarship player since Princeton Transfer Jon Wallace. He should be able to pick up our basic offensive sets and defensive rotations quickly. If he is able to improve his handle, he has a chance to give us basically what Daquan Cook does with the upside potential of less streakiness.
@Stringer Bell He is the Jordan of the summer league.

@ILikePancakes They scrimmage the DR on Thursday.

@ILikePancakes @Crow It's more like 1%.
@FREE_COLE @Lost Ones Why not just get Pryz then? I'm pretty sure he's a FA.
@Old Man Game Does anyone remember how Cole tested athletically at the combine? Just curious.
@justin_mia Just a difference in definitions then. I consider Thabeet and Oden major foul machines. Hopefully one of Hasheem or Cole will emerge capable of taking this role.
@justin_mia I don't see what about Cole's career 6 fouls per 36 would suggest he won't be.
@justin_mia Say what you want about Nazr, but he's a veteran who knew our rotations inside and outside on defense and our sets on offense and he could hit a mid range jump shot if left open regularly. If he plays in the NBA like he's playing in the summer league, he's gonna be in Tulsa.
@FREE_COLE @Lost Ones @Grolgar I think he could produce that in 8-10, but I'm worried about him turning the ball over, and I question his ability to do it efficiently from the field while playing quality defense and not clogging up the offensive lane. I'm rooting hard for him, but he's gotta prove it or we need to go get someone who can get it done.
@cjones191 @Lost Ones All three of those guys are very good rebounders. The book on LeBron is to surround him with shooters and let him create through the drive and kick. Make no mistake, the Heat have improved this offseason (unless Wade gets old or something overnight). That's scary.
@Lost Ones @FREE_COLE @Grolgar I think that's a best case scenario.
@cemitten I agree on going beyond a one year deal, we're in the same camp on that.
@Lost Ones @AlexKennedyNBA If I had a dime for every Alex Kennedy Dwightmare rumor, I'd have enough cash to pay Harden's extension.
@cemitten I don't see how adding a player like Grant Hill to the roster while sacrificing literally nothing is a bad idea. At the very least, he'd provide Brooks the opportunity to use a few different looks.
@FREE_COLE @OBoymuzik About 17 mpg. Still enough room for the kind of player we're talking about.
@FREE_COLE @OBoymuzik In the playoffs this year, Fisher, Nazr and Cook combined to play 39 MPG. There is certainly rotation space available.
@OBoymuzik @koolcrud I'm not talking about a top vet though like those guys. I never expected us to go out and get a Steve Nash or a Ray Allen. But a Grant Hill or a JJ Hickson as another option off the bench seems more than reasonable. For those wondering about where the minutes would be, this team looked like it could've really used another scorer off the bench or another big body when Ibaka and Perk were getting into foul trouble during the Finals.
Every other contender is using their mid level exception. If we're not willing to offer a veteran like Hill (not necessarily him, but someone like him, Landry, Jamison, Kaman, Lee, Hickson or Brand) a 1 year deal for the full MLE, there's no two ways about it, we're being cheap while the title window is open. It also probably wouldn't bode well for ownership's willingness to pay a hefty tax bill to compensate our RFAs.
Lazar could've really helped in the finals if he got some of Harden's minutes. #summerleaguetrolling
