Yeah the book was great. SK got kinda pissed at the director for not following through his own plot. I think the director personally believed Jack was just going crazy and there were no ghosts.

@Cole_Patrick lol He's just poking. Seeing who gets pissed first. I love these grass root projects.

@Doughy_Baby Good point. Mix it up a little would help. Maybe target it towards our genre would help also.

I just remember the guy who put people into his ribs and being absolutely afraid of him as a kid, though I loved the series. I forgot about it for years until your review, James. Thanks! I'm gonna look this shit up and enjoy it all over again.

I first took notice of Brad Dourif in The Frighteners. Then he was in Lord of the Rings. He's also, as BH said, in One Flew Over the Cockoos Nest. He's a pretty good actor that guy.

And he's Chucky?!?! You see him as the criminal in the begining lol

I actually saw this one and liked it a lot. The part where the girl came screaming home and pounding the door was great. Her family wouldn't let her in and she's killed by the panther. The mom gasps as blood floods under the door and into the kitchen. Love that film noir effect.

You can watch this instantly on Netflix.

I've been watching the old flicks with James and Mike's commentary by playing Netflix with Cinemassacre on the computer. It's fun.

I first saw the advertisement for Freddy Vs. Jason when the trailers were playing for Matrix Reloaded (which blew chunks) and I have never seen an audience react with such enthusiasm to a teaser. The theater was pretty big and it was jam packed with people of all ages running off the Matrix fever and when they saw Freddy leap out of Crystal Lake and arch over Jason with his claws the people just exploded with cheers and applause. It was fucking awesome.

@DeanWilks I agree. Everyone is angry about how the movie series got more comical as it went on but as a kid I loved it and it still scared the shit out to me. Freddy is so awesome.

@shawneeinternetnerd  Since the content's free I suppose so. If James is doing this full time he has to pay the bills somehow. It's easy to forget that a lot of this stuff he does is expensive and very time consuming.

@billy666pop  LOL I didn't even see that until you mentioned it.
