Wanted to let you know this resonated with me, and I had a similar epiphany last month on my vacation. http://clairification.blogspot.com/2012/07/why-managing-information-overload.html#more
It's important to unplug every now and then, and realize the list will still be there when we get back. The world keeps on spinning, regardless.
Love this infographic. And I pinned it too! I like commandment #4. I've just started commenting more, and Pinterest really can become a great, engaging social network (IMHO); not just a paste to pin. If I had to add a commandment, it would be TO HAVE FUN!
These are great tips. Thanks for sharing
I especially resonate with your point about sending us inspiring quotes with no point of view. It's like getting a Hallmark Card that's simply signed with your name. Why bother?
This is SO cool. Really useful framework. Thanks so much for sharing this.
This is a fantastic post, and so on point. I especially liked the point about getting folks to that place where they understand it's costing them money not to fix the problem. And, yes, sometimes they'll go with a lower priced consultant; usually, this results in an unfixed problem (IMHO) I will definitely share!
I started my blog in September, and have been struggling with how to drive more traffic there. So this post is really useful. I'm curious about triberr, which is one I haven't heard of. Also, I'm interested in facebook groups. I kind of hate facebook personally, but i do advise all my business clients to have a fb presence. But they don't have to worry about their privacy in the same way as do I; do I have to be there if I want to be a serious blogger?! Now I think I'm going to have to go back to read your StumbleUpon post to figure that one out. So much to do!
Great post with very practical advice. I'm going to share! Many thanks.
