I feel like Lil Wayne is in the wrong about this situation. When it comes to celebs, and what not, they always think they have to get their exact way. What about someone who like me wants to go to a game? Well I have to buy a ticket and usually a cheaper one so I can go and enjoy the game. He was obviously going to have great seats for the game, and people would recognize him, especially in Oklahoma City.
Then he brings up the race issue, and that just turns me off. There's no reason to bring that up. He's just being a bit immature about this, and then to tweet that whole "go spurs" thing.
What a win for the pacers. Even with holding off this team, that was impressive. Now they have to put it together for Boston tomorrow night. I'm excited to collect my thoughts and put together a recap for this one.
How about that Pacers win tonight? Even as a fan, I wasn't sure what to expect, and getting up 24 points was very unexpected. Then to hold off that final run, and pick up the win is impressive. Now they need to follow it up tomorrow.
This was well written and I feel the same way. Even if people aren't going to games, I would love for people to be talking about the team, so you know they are paying attention. The only thing I can think of is when the playoffs roll around, hopefully people will show up in droves. Then another season like this and the attendance should be up where it needs to be. But if that doesn't happen, and the pacers are still winning, I don't know what it will take for people to come out.
I get so tired of the coach being the first person to blame and players not playing as hard once they realize they don't like their coach. What would happen at my job if I just all of a sudden thought oh I don't like my boss, so I'm going to take it easy? They would notice and I would probably get some sort of talking to about it. But in all these sports, the coach loses the team, and that coach gets fired. It's like Dan Dakich said you're just coaching till you get fired. I am sure some other guys have said that, but that's who I listen to on 1070 the Fan here in Indy, and I usually hear him state that.
What do you think about Blake Griffin nowadays? Because I saw him in person playing against the Pacers, and it looked like once the Pacers got physical with him, he started shying away from the basket. He just looked out of sorts from playing and wasn't going to take it to the basket like he normally does. Do you think he is a soft player or that was just the circumstances?

I am going to nominate the Indiana Pacers as a winner of the trade deadline in their dealing for Leandro Barbosa. He might not be the big pickup that most teams would have made, but for this Pacers team, he's added an energy that fuels the second unit. He brings a fast pace to the game and really brings another scorer to the depth of this Pacers team. A depth that they take pride in and one they can use in the last part of this season and into the playoffs.

Being a Pacers fan, I am definitely interested in the Eastern Conference and I think the Pacers are a better team than the Hawks, 76ers and possibly Magic even though those teams are ahead of them. Do you think the Bulls would love a playoff series again with the Pacers if that somehow came together?
Being a Pacers fan, you don't know how excited I was about this win. But then I came back to Earth and realized, it's only a regular season win, and if the Pacers come back tomorrow night to lose to the Nets, what does this mean then? But the Pacers have been showing some fight in their past few games, and that's a great sign to me. Feel free to check my work on AlwaysMillerTime.com and see what else is going on in Pacers world.
Wow you were pretty close with your prediction about the score at least in the Pacers favor. I'm glad you were wrong about it being a 2 point win. As a Pacers fan I thought the Pacers might keep it close and POSSIBLY have a shot to win, but I didn't think they would be able to handle the Heat as much as they did. Can you imagine if they showed this type of effort in the playoffs?
@jimestrada Oh my fault. I had forget about him. Man that feels so long ago, but good call.
I definitely think George Hill was missed from that second unit. He's that guy who can do it all and will do what he is asked. That could be the explanation behind that five game losing streak as well. Even though everyone was flat at times with that. The bench is what the Pacers are taking pride in, and it will be great to have him back as soon as they can.
harrill7 Very good insight into Hansbrough. I don't know what's been going on with him. I have to wonder if teams just defend him so much that he has to make a play, and last year it felt like he could get right to the basket with "ease" or whatever flailing way he could. But this season, he doesn't get the ball in the best place at times, and really has to work to get the shot he wants. I definitely agree he's going to need that playing time to really show what he can do. Obviously he's a good spark, and should be able to come in and produce.
PacersCenter Thank you very much for that catch, and I've corrected that bad error.
