An interesting article. I may not agree on all the points, but well done to the writer!

The Finn's Series 1-7 Rewatch®

The Lodger

Only a few niggles. A 9/10

One thing I don't really get after watching this episode again is: the sequel got a bad rep because the solution was "love saves everything". But.... the same thing happens, in essence, here, and still this episode is hailed as a fan favourite.

@YaelMoise waits for the trees to take over @John Smith the Second Yeah, from what I've gathered only a small portion of those who vote also comment.

"Flatline" easily, but with a really small margin. MOTOE is a 9.5/10 for me, while FL is a solid 10/10.

Oh dear, pity neither of you really enjoyed the episode. But I'll have to side more with John's verdict, mainly because I also liked the Addams Family jokes and the subplot of Clara being a Doctor-esque character.

There seems to be a stuffed tiger in one of the promo pics... and a live one in the trailer. Maybe some alien being makes non-living things into living ones?

@Planet of the Deaf @SilenceHasFallen You know, some people have said that the show should be rested for a while. I think that, in a sense, 2013 was just such a rest. It's really invigorated the show IMHO.

@Edoe 11/12. The only one I got wrong was the same as you: the trainline. Many went right by lucky chance, such as question 1 (funny enough, the geography of Britain wasn't really touched upon at school :P)

IMHO in the full placings listing Listen and Into the Dalek should be lower and Time Heist and Robot of Sherwood should be higher. As for the verdict, I am in the 31.38% that voted 9/10.

@Joseph Graham @YaelMoise waits for the trees to take over I don't know, I think all the stories either were filmed or are set in Wales, so that might be the reason they were chosen.

Not sure I like the sound of this.... although I must admit the Doctor teaming up with a Dalek seems interesting. And the Cyber Tombs of Telos? Is that a hint that they'll appear in the TV series, introducing them like this?

@supermoff, agent of C.L.A.R.A. @The Finn No, I'm referring to this in Mark's article: "The only firm fact we can draw from the scene is the Cyber-eye on the wall behind Missy, given that she will share the screen with the Cybermen in the finale, the link is interesting."

The Finn Reviews: Doctor Who: Earth Conquest

Potential spoilers ahead

It's a 10/10, definitely. It's not *only* about the World Tour, but also about how Whovianism has inspired  fans all over the world to create art. The World Tour is certainly a focus point, but so is the fans and art portrayed, which are from the countries the World Tour visited. I've quite possibly never laughed so much, even at Moffat's humour. Keep a look out for many drawings and paintings and pieces of music featured on W&W.
