@Stef The real galling part about it was that Carter was offside, and that went uncalled. Apparently, his goal was off a high stick, too. Kind of hard to take. But, these guys outlasted the President's trophy winner, as well as the two teams that finished ahead of them. So, they can hold their heads high.

Thanks, mightymiked. I appreciate that you decided to forgo the "autopsy" this morning, and instead dwell on what was good about the game and the series. It's things like this that make CtA my favorite Blackhawks blog. The future for this team is bright, indeed. I can't wait for next season, and for what y'all have in store for us in the off-season. Thank you!

Yes, use your cat as a watermark, please. It looks a lot like my dearly-departed fur ball, and I enjoy your posts even more if they are kitty-infused.
Thank you for not recapping last night's game. Makes it much easier to forget, and it deserves to be forgotten.

This whole thing with Bollig is bugging me, too. Do y'all notice him standing there with Toews, patting his teammates on the back as they leave the ice every time the Hawks win? WTF is up with that? Between that, all this ice time that makes one scratch one's head, and that the PR department seems to be in love with him, it makes me wonder if he has something on one of his higher-ups.
Not to make excuses for them, but judging by the way the Hawks played last night, I would not be surprised if Duncan Keith is not the only one who has the flu.

I lost about 10 IQ points reading it--and, that was just after the first two pages. The stupid. It burns.

Actually, the last OT goal they scored by Brent Seabrook in Game 4 of the Final.
