This IS the best way to train. Nothing like seeing a severed femoral artery spew the life of of a human being, and know how to properly handle it. The only way to save that life is to be prepared for the shock. The shock of seeing someone's life pour out onto the ground in front of you. With this training, there is no shock once you get into the field of play. The medics act immediately, instead of reacting. Which we all know takes precious life away.I say fuck PITA. They should stick to saving whales!

I've seen this before. A woman crashed her car, and we got it as an unconscious in an accident.
Puzzled, we transported taking all the precautions, and treating accordingly.
Then she woke up. Scared the shit out of us having a casual conversation about everything else, when she woke screaming "they got me".
I had to stop one medic from bailing without a ground Chute!!
It took a little convincing to get her to calm down.

My concern is that this team had a plethora of options. They used an irreplaceable tool to reduce/eliminate a threat that had no option to walk out, and limited supply of ammunition, with a limited or no nutritional supply to sustain any length of time to hold out. Seems unreasonable that this team should use a dynamic assault for someone who had no significant value?? I don't get it....this assault no sense to me. Ape deserved better.... Regardless of his use as a tool. My question is: was this character really a HVT that needed to be eliminated, for reasons other than his apparent murder spree? Is that Waco I smell?
The team I'm on has drills, and small cameras, and all kinds of neat stuff like that so we don't risk ANY life. Far-be-it for me to Monday Q-back this.... But I really feel bad they made that decision.
