Holy crap, what a gut punch of a post. I mean that in the best possible way. Definitely interested in reading more from you, Mike.

I continue to think Nick hung the moon. Also: Hee. You said "big banana."

Like Tea, I've written rants of my own - and always - ALWAYS - I struggle mightily over the "to name-and-shame or not" question. I think I've always come down on the side of "not," except in small, closed groups. But I admit I often daydream about being brave enough to risk the wrath of the big dogs and all the little-dog/wannabe-big-dogs.

@CrystalSteeves I think you're right, first off - but the fallacy in this way of thinking (don't take offense - I did it for YEARS before I caught on) is that it's a false dichotomy. It ain't "either/or." It's "this WHILE that" ... it's "find a way to whittle this down AND grow that" ... it's taking care of the basic needs while planning how YOU are gonna bankroll your divorce from the Bitch Sisters. It requires creativity. It requires asking for and receiving help. It requires a whole different timeline and a shit-ton of patience. It's not always successful. But, damn, the alternative ... My two cents, YMMV, void where prohibited by law, etc. ;)

I LOVE THIS. We all feel the pressure sometimes to boil everything down to the simplest soundbite takeaway, but these people take it SO much further. And it's just wrong. And it's time we all SAID it was wrong, too. So bravo to you, Sandi!

I LOVE that - focus not on the problem, but on what you WANT. That fits right into my productivity model of focusing on the vision first - a model I'm learning really applies at so many levels, micro to macro.

Great post! When I created my @pjproductivity profile on Twitter, I got so many comments on it, and still do to this day. A little humor and ballsy creativity go a LONG way!

Oy. I call metrics the "M" word. Will definitely tune in.

FABULOUS, woman. Truly. Really, that's ALL there is to it. Easy? No. Simple? Yes. And the power lies completely within you. Or me. Or ... you know, whatever. US. Individually.

Can't wait to hear the recording of this! Sorry I missed the live call. Facebook's one of the hardest-to-grok SM platforms, due in part to the constant tweaking/adjusting/changing they do ... like one never ending not-always-welcome surprise party, LOL

Interesting breakdown. I often try to do similar analyses for new clients who haven't yet brought the big guns on board with the whole content marketing/social media approach, though mine aren't near as spot-on or pretty as yours.
