I'm going to toss my cookies. I haven't even had any cookies. In fact, I'm going to go home and have cookies, just so I can toss them!
And if that was the ending to Clara, they've now ruined the chance for it to be used in future.
I don't take notice of papers regarding Doctor Who anymore. To me, every report that revolves around rumours or "inside sources" just reads blah, blah, blah

Very happy anniversary Doctor Who. I hope to see you at the hundredth! ;)

Yeah, no. He's an arrogant sod(!)

Happy birthday to one of my most favourite companions! I hope it's a fantastic day, Chesterfield- I mean Chesterson, no, Dammit. Russell... happy birthday, William Russell!

Happy birthday, master Moffat! Have a great day and relax. You'll need it after series 8 and before series 9... ;)
1 week, 3 days ago on Happy Birthday, Steven Moffat!
Meh. Sounds like bit of an excuse tbh. I really hope they don't come back next series. They need a break. Their frequent appearances are killing them.
As he just said, a year is an eternity. Well, that's good isn't it? You don't want anybody to expect them to appear. You need it to be a surprise, so that it carries some weight. So that people will be relieved their back rather than looking at the telly with a blank face.
Please give them a break!

@Master No More @supermoff No, I think they just wanted a comedic small person to play an elf who's already appeared in the show numerous times. XD
Interesting. Definitely intriguing to see a slight hint of what we can expect from the Doctor and Santa relationship.

@The Finn @TARDlSkey I will burn you. I will burn the heart out of you.
Funnily, each Doctor so far has had a style that's suited me during their era. With Chris, I actually wore a lot of leather jackets when I was younger - even before I watched Who. With David, I was already into converse and I always liked the idea of wearing a suit when I was older. Matt came about and I was in a faze of wearing absolutely anything, even if I looked like a mug. And now with Capaldi, I tend to dress quite casually smart with a sort of 'classic' vibe to it.
God, I hope the next Doctor doesn't pull a Six....
@TheTimeTraveller is excited for Christmas I was first to comment after everyone else already did... does that count? ;)
Also, happy anniversary! Great to have known you for the last two years and hopefully many more to come! :)

@The Administrator is Missy Claus! The Unquiet Dead
I just found the concept of dead people coming back to life (this was before I actually came to familiarise myself with zombies) really creepy.
@The Administrator is Missy Claus! The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
No time? Small budget? Trying your best to make something turn out great despite the difficulty and stress? I so know where he's coming from.
When people complain and hate on Moffat because they didn't like an episode or whatever, they have to realise, they're not helping to inspire him. If all you see is somebody continuously trash your work and the effort and commitment you've put into it, wouldn't you feel like giving up? I respect Moffat so much for carrying on and doing all he can to make a great viewing experience for fans; even if it doesn't turn out to be what some had hoped.

Why some people continue to question why Clara doesn't recognise Missy bewilders me. Is it really that hard to come up with the solution that's slap-bang in our faces?
Do you remember the face of that person who served you in the shop three weeks ago? How about over a year ago? More in Clara's case.
Missy wasn't even close to significant in Clara's mind. What reason would she have to remember her face? When the Doctor asked who gave her the number in Deep Breath, Clara responded in a way that sounded as though she completely forgot until that moment.

Every time I rewatch the "I'm not a good man" scene, I always feel as though Twelve has finally clicked into place. There have been times where he's felt inconsistent IMO. Sometimes he was overly harsh, then he seemed nice enough that his harshness previously was questionable. But during this particular scene, as soon as he smiles - with the updated version of I Am The Doctor playing in the background, I just feel like... here's the Doctor. "With a screwdriver... passing by. Learning." I love this scene because it's so Doctor-ish. And I find it fitting how it occurred in the finale, during his "darkest hour".

@sontaran17 is being upgraded Dream Lord.
...Well, I can dream... PAHAHAHA! :|
With dreams apparently being part of the Christmas special - and Twelve's skepticism of such myths as Santa - I bet we'll be lead to believe he's a false creation with a lot of cheese to back it up but then the ending will conclude with him actually being Santa afterall.
I have such a strong feeling that will be the case since it is a Christmas special in the end, and they've already made out that Robin Hood was real.
Still not sold on the Santa thing myself. I hope they handle it right in the episode.

There have been times when I felt the character acted in a non-Doctor-y way, but more than none he felt absolutely the Doctor and Capaldi's performance has been outstanding. Anybody that I've spoken to who hasn't quite enjoyed the series haven't been able to deny Capaldi's been terrific, showcasing his acting capabilities. And above all that, he's fantastic with the fans.
A hit. Definitely!

Though I'm sad at Osgood's death, I'm glad those two guards died. They were pretty crap weren't they? They didn't notice that Missy was breaking out of her handcuffs, which could be quite forgivable - maybe they missed it. But what's not forgivable was that they still hadn't noticed she'd gotten free despite applying lipstick, Osgood holding up her handcuffs and leaping forward freely. The whole time, they barely even blinked.
Where'd UNIT hire them from? The community of deaf, blind and dumb soldiers? Geez...
@Admin short for Administrator! @The Genie Sorry, dad.
@KirbyForce1 It wasn't confirmed that Orson* was a descendant of Clara. He just said that the toy soldier ran in the family. It was implied that he giving it to her fell within that concept, but didn't confirm she was actually related by blood.

@Runcible Wow! ;o
It's weird. I've come to really like Danny's character over the course of this series. I loved how he truly cared for Clara and I love how he stood up to the Doctor, throwing everything back in his face. He was just a really likable, down to Earth character that Samuel Anderson played wonderfully. The fact that he's actually gone now and some of the last words that he heard from Clara were "[The Doctor] is the man I will never lie to" is hurtful. His departure genuinely was hurtful, for me at least. And after all of this, his final act was giving back the life of an innocent boy that he accidentally took.
Why Moffat? Why must you make me hurt?
*Salutes Danny Pink*
@Chris502 I think it was the soundtrack that part-made this episode for me.
@TardisBoy is the Mistress 1. Mummy on The Orient Express - 10/10

6. Dark Water - 8/10

11. Into The Dalek - 7/10

Personally, I think it would be a crime for Michelle Gomez not to appear as Missy again. She's definitely made a statement with her take on the Master.

So Matt's appeared in both the first and final episodes of series 8. Despite tonight's cameo being a scene from Bells, he's had the same amount of appearances in the show as David has.
So I was kicked out of the cemetery before they began shooting Danny's speech. Well, that makes sense XD
@Kranitoko Did we watch the same thing?

Best... finale... whoa. :'(
@TheBiPunishment I'd sort of like her to be Capaldi's equivelant to the crack in time during Matt's era.
I'd want her be spread across his era subtly and often excluded entirely but still carrying a presence that feels significant and unfinished.
@The Lazy Cat Needs Her Inhaler If Jenna has already left, I doubt she'd comment on the episode.

The more I watch Dark Water, the more I love Gomez as the Master. I mean, she is the Master. Everything about her just screams the Master. It almost makes the gender-change unnoticeable. It's almost like she was born for the role.
I hope the character doesn't go quiet again until a new actor takes on the role. I really want to see them use Gomez to full potential.
