Same owners lol. Atmosphere is very different and so are the hours. A lot of the Bethesda regulars have rented lockers at Civil, being open to 2 am and 3am on the weekends. If there were a lounge like this in say the middle of Alabama, I'd definitely do it. Just love the atmosphere of Civil and the ventilation is second to none. I understand your point of a larger payout but once thats done, you're set for a year, to me a no brainer.
Just an FYI, the locker rental includes a box of the cigars, 10%off anything in the retail store, invitation to all vip events, priority seating and entrance, $50 gift card which can be used anywhere in the lounge. You figure $270 if it were a regular box of tainos, and the $50 drops the rental to $680, split that with someone and you have a locker for a year in a place you can smoke drink and eat for $340 a year. That breaks down to about $7.00 a week. To me thats beyond reasonable especially if you've ever seen the place.
