Why is that McGuire guy working every day?  Don't you have anyone better NBC?

And every NBC crew except for Doc, Kenny and Olczyc should pay attention and learn something from  the way Hughson and Simpson work.

Fernandez has a job as a broadcaster only because he was part of some good Mets teams back in his days.

@clt0002  How's that?  A funeral is more animated than Caray calling a game.  Only when the Braves do something he goes banananas.

@wlaw422  How did Goring do?  I disliked him on the Islanders games, too wordy and didn't let me enjoy Howie Rose's calls.

For some years the Mets had the best team with Howie Rose and Fran Healy on the booth.  The guys they have now get me fighting hard to stay awake.

@DanielOrmsby  I find nothing wrong with Busby.  He's way better than the guy with the funny voice who now is doing radio alongside Howie Rose with the Mets( his name eludes me)  The only thing I don't like about Grieve is when he spends time sending greetings to people.  He even did a good job as play by play last season, which I consider was completely unnecessary since the networks could have hired someone like Bill Jones for instance.  Since both are former layers, they can bring a lot to the table during broadcasts.

Howie Rose is the best of the lot.  Staats is very good too, also Carpenter, when he did national games on espn, now he's too much of a homer.  Brian Anderson, Thorne and Kenny Albert would round up my announcing teams.

We've seen in the WBC that a fast pace of game will also lead to success.  Not everyone has to follow on the NYY and Boston footsteps to achieve success.

Upon further review, you need correct two things in your description of the SF-AZ challenge: first, Managers are eventually going to get the hang of this challenge *thing*. And then, ... Bochy lost his challenge and the game was only in the fourth inning, the play couldn't be *reviewed*.

Thank you.

They make such a lethargic broadcast they bore themselves, even though it was a good game.  I caught that one but I thought I misheard in my sleep.

Lyons is a terrible analyst.  He's just mumbling during the broadcast, it seems he's at a funeral.  Besides that, all he seems to be able  to say is "I'll tell you what."

Being able to watch 4 or 5 complete games on Sundays sounds a lot better than 3.  And I like the idea of the halftime show done live.  Sometimes there are terribly long lags after the 2 min warning because the networks need to synch the show.

Guy's insufferable.  He basically took over on the women's bronze medal game.

Thankfully I had a Canadian stream available.

All the NBC analysts think we tune in to listen to them.   Someone should shut their mouths with the tape used for the players sticks.
