4th poll down...
1 day, 16 hours ago on Rank the Revival: 2012-2013 Recap
Well it might not be reflected in the comments at the moment but there are people voting 4 and lower. Even as low as 1/10s.

It's always amusing when people say the site is biased because anyone who has been here for a little while would see that we publish articles on all points of view (provided they are not nasty).
This is just one guest contributor's personal opinion, not an official site stance. If someone was to send in an article on why they don't want Shona back, or anyone for that matter, and it meets the site guidelines it would also be published.

Not in this series of polls. This is full episodes only. There will be a minisodes poll at a later date.
1 week, 6 days ago on Rank the Revival: RTD Era Recap
Looking at the actual results so far I'd say the comments might present scores more negatively skewered than they are (isn't that always the way).
2 weeks, 1 day ago on Rank the Revival: 2009-10 Specials
It's strange how accurate they were given that there were 1000s and 1000's more voting than were commenting.
You might want to wait until the recap before posting the exit poll. That'll be up tomorrow.
Moffat 2014 interview: “You certainly don’t wheel the Daleks out because you’ve got a contractual obligation to provide Daleks.”
He adds: “I think Doctor Who is great when there are Daleks in it [and] I don’t think you should go too long without Daleks.
“For a child, a year between Dalek stories is an eternity – I remember as a kid saying ‘Why haven’t they done the Daleks for ages? It’s been four or five weeks!'”

Getting a boxset out before Christmas played a big factor as well!
Personally I don't consider specials part of a series hence why these are being done in years.
Don't worry, they'll be plenty of tears next month.
We're doing these by the years they were shown in. Simplest way.
We've also added a link at the bottom of each that should work if all else fails.

The latter - 'average' refers to the normal minimum expectation, or middle of the road type episode.
'Average' is used incorrectly on a lot of score scales. It should always be 5/10 but there's a mindset in modern media that seem to think it's 7/10. In fact when it came to reviewing last year some people even thought 7/10 was bad. This is about using more of the scale correctly.

Thanks. Will look into it.
Can confidently say the whole Eccleston exchange with the Dalek is one of the best moments in Who history.
Every multi-part story, including The End of Time, will be voted on individually.
The End of Time Part 1
The End of Time Part 2
As it was broadcast all those years ago.
When the polls are over and it comes to final listing both parts of the story will be converted into one average score.
Some people think a lot of the multi-part stories have good build up but falter in the second half, so the final score should better reflect that by separating them.

He'll be back. Next month.
Let me look into it. I'll see if I can add a direct link that won't use the page scaling.
Probably by collapsing from exhaustion.
This site is also ten in June. Crazy!
Is that on a desktop or mobile? If mobile (phone/tablet) try rotating your device.
Yep they'll be recaps on weekends.
You'd be in heaven with all the data and options available now.
Closing comments for now. Will open again when there's more info and more to discuss.
1 month ago on Doctor Who Series 9 (2015): What We Know
Well two pieces of evidence. Moffat said it's the same format i.e. a full series. But also one of the online CV's of a production member said 13 episodes. The question about Xmas remains though.
To be fair if you haven't been reading this site 24/7/365 there's a fair bit of info here. Yes no spoilers as such but it's only January. Perhaps will hold these off for even longer next time though.
Read the note.
Think it's safe to say if there's a discrepancy in %, it'll be the last figure that is incorrect. So just add the others and adjust accordingly.

Like Finn says the co-writes probably didn't help matters.
And the percentage rounded up for that one, it's actually 0.64%.
He actually got 0.20%, but it rounded down so some votes, if still not many at all!
The graphs are automated. The orders will always be correct but the final percentage is sometimes off. It seems to round up/down sometimes. The admin version says 1.64% for Jenny.
That should keep Supermoff busy.
Well we'll be celebrating all elements of the last 10 years in the coming months.
1 month ago on Best of 2014 Awards: The Winners (Part 4)
No but there's something coming up in the not too distant future that should cater quite well to that.
It would wouldn't it.
Find out next week.
Well it got 6.482 last time. Not great but still above average on the score scale people were voting for. It's interesting Moffat says he thinks it'll improve in stature over time. The same thing happened with Rings. It came last in DWTVs original poll but improved by a fair bit in the best of MS. We'll see if the same thing happens again in a few weeks.
Or maybe some people just genuinely liked it.
You may be surprised with the writer poll...
Unfortunately we changed polling system and the results of certain polls come down to memory now. At least in votes for a Moffat series, S5 has most commonly prevailed. That's all Connor meant.
We're actually trying out a new polling system very soon that allows some more flexible variations on voting. Not that there's any sort of exact 'accuracy' in this.
Find out tomorrow. It was close though!
