@HD2 You're mistaken. The very poll I quoted and linked to above does make the point about legal rights that you state. And even so by 2-1 the public back equal marriage. (In fact, the claim that there are equal legal rights isn't even quite true - as there are differences, such as related to moving abroad.)

@John Symons Worth remembering that several layers of British (domestic) courts can make decisions by a majority vote and a margin of one suffices, so if that's your basis for judging credibility much of the British legal system fails it too.

One question: I'm a bit surprised to see Facebook listed as "excellent moderation tools". My experience is very different - e.g. the moderation interface at developers.facebook.com/tools/.... is pretty crude and it doesn't even give you an easy way to view a list of all the comments that have been hidden, nor is there a way to get email notification that there's a comment which needs your attention.

 

What was it about the Facebook options that made you give them such a good write-up on this criteria (and I wonder if perhaps you're using a different tool/interface to the one from Facebook I'm using)?
