Out standing guys.. Great idea..
@JackMurphyRGR Again very well stated
@JackMurphyRGR Jack well stated. I think the “Big army” things come from the Clinton and the diabolical in Somalia. The “Big army” did not want to lose people and would not let us do our jobs. This point is stated in Dalton book when the Dboys had to deal with SF units in the stan. He states this more than once. Made my heart sink to read it. They just did not want to take chanceson getting any one killed and those orders came from the top. Some guys are more worried about their career then what they are doing. I think things were different in the 80’s and allot of the guys there were old timers.( viet vets) You had allot from these guys around . I think that SF has always been on a fringe kinda attitude. The groups have grown so large and it is a real career path for some. It was not always that way and people who were in SF wanted to be there because of the missions and the type of missions you could get. The team dynamic really depends on who the Team Daddy is. A good Team daddy always sets the tone on what the team will be like. If you were going Native because you trusted the natives more than your team then that is the Team daddy’s fault.. The best teams that I served with had great Team daddies. I learned more from the older timers then I did any were else. And not just about military stuff but life. Just some of my thoughts
JackMurphyRGR That is an interesting Point.. Then the real question is who gains?
BrandonWebb you are correct for sure man .. more to come.. it will be interesting to see when we are drawn in to the mess openly
