@long arm of the law @hbelvoir He is great a majority of the time on D. His off ball D has improved but he still takes lazy gambles on too many possessions. He is an awesome player but just like Durant has a few things he can clean up to reach the highest level as a team
@TrueChamp @hbelvoir @OBoy @ou_sas If you don't think this then you have no coaching experience and aren't watching the games from a coaching perspective. We have very few issues but there are a couple that can easily be cleaned up.
@OBoy @hbelvoir @ou_sas It was beverly and a couple of times Harden. The results don't matter. He has done this his whole career and it hurts us against the best teams at the highest level. Coaching should take care of this.
@OBoy @ou_sas @hbelvoir The lazy Westbrook D and way too much ball watching during defensive rebounding are our two biggest issues. We really need to find a man when the shot goes up, put a body on him and then re-locate the ball and go get it. We often just watch the flight of the ball. That is a fundamental no no and I blame that on the coaching as well.
@ou_sas @hbelvoir @OBoy Yes I was, at least twice he lazily reached and let his man blow by him for a bucket. He needs to play more straight up defense.
@OBoy Doesn't matter because Russ is going to be lazy and reach then rely on our back line to clean it up for him. I love Westbrook but my biggest problem with him is his lazy D and I blame the coaching staff for cleaning that up a long time ago. There are good times to gamble but he reaches just to be lazy and it needs to stop.
Westbrook's D is a big problem. He needs to be told to stop gambling and stay in front of his man. His Lazy D is very problematic. He just reaches and tries to rely on the Big Guys help. He needs to play more straight up D and I blame that on the coaching!
@Aren't Brooks doesn't play with his rotations enough, to set in his ways. Would like to see Ibaka play with the smallball line-up instead of Nick. The regular season should allow players like Lamb and Jones to get a good learning experience but not with Brooks. Stan Van Gundy should be the coach next year.
This is the best half I have seen Westbrook play. Setting guys up all over the floor and scoring bigtime.
@Bryson We are constantly ball watching! It's a very bad habit and something good coaching would have taken care of a long time ago!
The result doesn't matter. We will never reach our ultimate goal playing that way and Brooks having his head up his ass. I don't have much faith that it's going to change

@Lost Ones He is playing great, but this repeated Iso hero ball will not work against the best teams unless everything breaks our way! Brooks sucks!
@OKC035 @Aren't We are not playing consistent, fundamental defense and we have to start doing it immediately! It must be done to reach the ultimate goal. Brooks must also call more set plays, involving movement and stop calling so many Iso's. He should let Durant bring the ball up more because it's very hard to double team at the top!
@Aren't I agree self accountablity is important! Russ takes a lot of heat on offense but that is Mostly on Brooks although Russ could limit his bad shots a bit more. But his defense is a huge problem. We are left trying to cover for him. Ibaka has been terrible too and should have got pulled for his transition D late in the game yesterday!
