I listed tickets to the 2 preseason games on the ticket exchange through the thunder website. 6 in sec 113 on the aisle.  They are listed right at face value.  Hoping some thunder fans can take advantage of them.  I will also be putting our unused tickets on there thoughout the year.

That may add some competition to preseason camp, but it would take a ton of improvement for Reggie to get to where Maynor was his rookie year.  For the two of them to be close, Maynor would need to take a big step back after the knee injury.  I hope that is not the case and this is spelling the end of Maynor in OKC.

From the look of the salary cap, we could have spent about 7-8 million and not paid the tax, while finding a one piece to help our team. That would have not kicked in the repeat offender penalties in the following years. I am sure it's not that simple, but I imagine a 7 million dollar player could have helped the second unit.

Why is Cole not getting more shots?  This is not meant to be an excuse for his bad play, b/c it sounds like his defense and rebounding are not good.  It just seems like he would have gotten more than 6 shots in the 40ish minutes he has played.  Is he not getting open or does the ball only go to the post via a shot from the perimeter.

He was only making 5 million, but i don't know the length of the contract.  That is not much more than Cook, but he has a career 41-42% 3 point average.

ESPN has a rumor headline that the Bulls may buyout Kyle Korver's contract to avoid the luxury tax.  That seems like a better pick up than Thabeet.

Russ even looked fast in slow motion when he blew by Jackson for the layup.

@Jooseppi First time I have seen that. Whoever was trailing that play, Granger I think, should have planted Wade when he saw that blatant cheap shot. It might seem like a hockey move, but that hit BS. He needed a Perk like message to Dirk after he elbowed Ibaka after the inadvertent hit on the shot.

That has been my focus today.  The thunder have completely out played and out classed (sorry if that's misspelled) the lakers in every game.   And as I look back on the series last year with the mavs, it went just as the it did in the regular season.  We played good but they were a little better.  So this should be no different, with us sweeping unless they come up with a game that is completely out of their character.  Go Thunder!

He looked like he didn't want to pick them but did .  It seemed like someone was forcing him to do it against his will.  Of course he came back at half time and after the game with a lot of positives from the thunder and even defended us not having a scoring big man.

I have been so amazed by national media members picking the lakers to win.   I get the history of their franchise, but they had to watch a little of the games between these two teams.  It wasn't even close.  The game they did win took a the elbow, Kobe to return to his 20's and 2 overtimes to beat us.  I am having a hard time seeing how they beat us at all.  I was prepared for Barkley to pick against us, but when Kenny Smith picked the Lakers last night, I was stunned.  I am fighting the urge to make of Festivus list of people that have pissed me off during this series.

@Jooseppi@JimboSlice I would love to see Cole play more. I don't understand the idea of dropping to an 9 man rotation (8 with Thabo out) in the shortened season. With games essentially every other night, it only makes sense to have more people playing than less. It is obvious that our big men's main contribution is screens, rebounds and preventing easy buckets, with an occasional bucket within 6 feet. Cole should be able to handle that. If we continue to limit our options to just Perk, Serge and Collison, there is an increased chance they will get hurt from fatigue and screw everything up. I can only imagine the fall-out from that happening. Free Cole!
