@johnAMIRANTESrug @MikeSML McIlrath will not be up in a playoff race. The Rangers seemed uncomfortable enough having him up the first time. I do hope he is ready next year, however. The biggest thing this team has lacked for years is a tough physical d-man, been preaching about it for years. I am also a big fan of Haley. No room for him however with Dorsett and Carcillo.

Rangers do absolutely nothing to address their glaring lack of size and grit. Be prepared for an early playoff exit. It won't be pretty if they play the Flyers or Bruins.
I hope the Leafs run and embarrass the Rangers and theyll realize they need more toughness than this. Ive never seen a team so soft top to bottom.

Carcillo is nothing more than a disturber and a punching bag. He doesnt bring any toughness. What will happen is he will get under other teams skins and theyll take it out on the rest of the team and the Rangers will have no one else to back it up. If the Rangers wanted a legitimate tough guy they should have picked up Westgarth who was traded the other week. The rangers bigger problem is EVERYONE on the entire roster from top to bottom is completely soft other than Callahan. Its going to take a lot more to make this team tougher.
Konopka stinks. As much as I want some toughness, if you think Boyle is a bad fighter, wait until you see Konopka. He puts up a lot of PIM's and he fights, but he's awful at it. Doesn't bring any intimidation factor.

If any of you have watched HBO's 24/7 with Toronto it's not surprising Kadri's being offered in a trade. One of the cockiest hockey players I've ever seen. Coaches seem to be down on his attitude up there.

If you're doing a trade with Toronto you need to get some of their toughness in a trade. I would try to include Frazer McLaren in a package with Kadri. As much as I liked Orr when he was here he's had major injuries since joining Toronto and isn't the same.
Winning 2 games in a row is the last thing this team needs. The team is flawed, needs major changes, and is going nowhere. Winning a couple games will do nothing to help that. You should root for more losing so the problems are addressed and not ignored becuase of a small winning streak.
