@TrueChamp @fireBrooks Good stuff :) Presti only wanted to give Brooks a 3 years contract so he must have had a hunch. too bad
@TrueChamp Lamb needs more sleep, I'm surprised he didn't yawn this time
@GeezerSpeak I suspect Presti will tade KMart, he can be better utilized elsewhere
@Lokedogg Just because we ask for a system (or a better system) doesn't mean we want to change the way Russ and KD play. Even Michael Jordan didn't win until he had a good system. Our ball movement has always been pathetic as soon as the first option fails. The state of disarray we witnessed when Russ went down proves that players were just clueless out there, that doesn't happen with other teams. All these shots that were just "missed shots" are actually the result of a poor system where our shots are contested and our players lack confidence
@DurantBleedsChuckNorris The answer is simple, Brooks wanted to pad the regular season wins to show improvement and he was all too happy to ride Durant and Russ's 1on5 game all year long (while pretending to make "subtle adjustments" to the offense because obviously our players are too dumb to get a full playbook)
@BallSoHard who's the bigger idiot, the idiot or the guy who plays the idiot?
@Militoni21 Judging by their body language yesterday, even that "play hard" talk is starting to wear out on the players.
@Amnesty Perkins @fireBrooks we can't have KD go 1 on 5 all game long and then wonder why he's not making shots
Its one thing to be a moron and keep using the same loosing strategy of having KD initiate the offense at the top of key all game long, it's another to be a hypocrit and blame durant/your players for "not making shots".
@Air Bud it's like the opposite coach has a strangle of Brooks' head and keep squeezing game after game. Brooks is completely helpless with his adjustments.
Why am I not surprised that Brooks once again weaseled himself out of this one by blaming his players "we didn't make shots". Give them a system to work with and shots will start falling.
@GREENE1148 @fireBrooks @FF_pickups maybe but I also think SVG put in place the best system for him to produce. Imagine if someone could do that with KD and Russ
@GREENE1148 @FF_pickups Look at how Howard is doing without SVG, people don't think he's the best center anymore
@FF_pickups @GREENE1148 Unfortunately we may have to endure another year of Brooks' doodoo before ownership is willing to absorb his contract
@KatieLL Old habits are hard to get rid off and it's not going to change in these playoffs and probably never with these coach. Anyone who can analyse our plays the way this article describes realizes we have a pathetic offense when it comes to playing as a team.
That is one area where I think Brooks failed again yesterday, not trusting and encouraging Reggie to attack at the end of the game. We were too predictable again going to KD and Memphis were putting 3 guys on him, not counting that KD was in an emotional funk again. Would have been the perfect time to hit Memphis with some of these nasty Jackson's drive.
@DXL This justs confirms that we're just a team riding two superheroes, one goes down and the entire fleet is in tail spin. If we actually had an offense you wouldn't see such panic/collapse, you would see a decrease but you would still get productivity out of players.
@Amnesty Perkins @nomad so you have to believe that whatever is happening out there is a reflection of coaching
