@bfrye26 @Crispee yes - they did a livestream demo to several of us. hopefully that's ok to say. Very impressive stuff that I think everyone will be happy about.

@CaseyGraffix While i like Ultimatum to a point they are very scattered when it comes to support and overpromising.
after watching today's demo -- i'm very excited.
@hennings i agree. And even small businesses realize that too. Companies that are only out for the do it cheap aren't worth getting anyway.

@John Petrowski @MichaelDevaney LOL. That would make a great tshirt.
@arpowers @Crispee Still excited to see what you guys come up with though. :)
@SidianMSJones @Crispee It was this: "Thus this is where web developers, getting paid $75+/hour come in. More fun." Maybe I'm being oversensitive. Just seems to say web developers are overpaid and useless. I'm sure that is part of the selling point to some, but when a core of the customers are probably developers just seemed strange to belittle their worth.
@hennings @Crispee Ah, thanks for the translation lol
What is "a degree in CS" ?
And as a person who gets paid to do client sites -- getting sarcastically slammed in a blog post doesn't give me a warm feeling. I agree with @hennings -- we need tools to help us help others achieve their vision perfectly. When companies say "drag and drop" it usually means the opposite and good luck trying to get it to where you want. If thats the case i'll stick with coding.
Great to see the changes. I'm glad I watched this as I would never have looked under that button for the template duplication :)

When will there be more fine control over text sizes within the interface? Seems strange to give so many options but sizing is not one of them (and which almost every other framework has). Yes you can use CSS but it would be nice to only have to use that for exceptions.
Also hoping that the LESS integration will become "less" dependent on going to their site and pulling out code to use.
And the "additional" selectors in the advanced typography box is still bizarre to me as well.

@WouterVanDerToorn are you using caching? your site just may need time to rebuild that cache.
Love the changes. But -- it's strange that you make such a big deal about a code editor and then right above it you basically tell users that if you use it then you aren't being "professional".
@kelliawise that would be great.

Both these walk-thrus are great -- and really show off what you can do. What I don't care for is the fact that all the example pics are so small. Plus, a link to a working version would be nice.
@AJMorris Meaning, this sentence is not logical: "If you’ve ever had a layout you thought was possible prior to 3.1, I encourage you to give it a try when you get your hands on 3.1."
If a layout was "impossible" before then it would make sense that 3.1 might make it "possible".

@GrantGriffiths@timwidmer That is great news.
I'm guessing you mean "impossible"?
@kgstew Great -- any support is great. The forums are good but it seems like the same questions over and over. Send in the gnomes!

@kgstew oh, just something with tips, videos, code samples for those who are doing plugins -- just customization of the theme.
Seems very add-on based which is great -- but I'm hoping we'll get something for normal web development as well?
@tranceandy Oh LOL -- but here's hoping that it is coming. These comments are awesome.
2 years, 6 months ago on What’s New In PageLines 2.1
@tranceandy What integration? I don't see anything regarding that (and i was wondering that too...)
Also, is there any hope to that wordpress quirk getting resolved for template naming?
I'm excited that you made such an extensive update so quickly and much in response to customer requests rather than just stuff you had originally planned. It gives me hope that some of the other little things that we've requested will get the same love sooner than later. Question -- why no "Get Satisfaction" type of feature request area?
