great info there Justin. I developed panic / anxiety attacks with my depression, but learning to control it. a simple technique a friend taught me was to breathe in for 6 seconds, hold for 2, and then breathe out ultra slowly for 7 seconds. calms down immediately :) Noch Noch
CEO of you. i like this concept
titles are no point. i learnt that after quitting the corporate. after 8 years of running after titles!Noch Noch
yikes - i told myself to disconnect for two weeks and here I am back online... it's an addiction. i hope i'm not yet a moron though :)
but yes, makes me more aware of the detriments of technology... too much emitting waves!!Noch Noch
I think apart from saying "no" there is a middle ground. it could be "I am occupied now, can this wait?" or similar phrases esp when we are swamped, be it in the work place or at home. this way, the person doesn't feel rejected, and also leaves some room for us to maneouver without harming the relationships. And when we have time to get to that, then we can decide if it's a "yes" or "no". sometimes we are so snowed under that what could be a "yes" we just push away

water and taichi. i swear by them these days. my migraines have been improving because of them!
i used to get sick with little colds and all before my depression. and always ignored it. thinking i was ok. my caution to others - don't ignore the little colds!Noch Noch
that's an interesting distinction about those we want to win and those who don't want to lose. i think i want to win mostly. i'm learning to manifest into the universe. great things will happen. create create creat

too many people think "i don't have time" or "i don't have money"
then they will be mediocre for the rest of their lives and watch as others "make it"..

i agree - and creating waves is hard. many might not believe in you at the beginning. we need to persevere to create big waves instead of ripples despite what others say. as long as we believe it's true and it's right

awwwww thanks for including me. i'm feeling all fuzzy and loved :) if anything i have to thank YOU for being so generous with your friendship and help to my blogging. it has been an eye opener for me that there is kindness in the blogosphere :)
i do echo you in being upfront with requests. like you, i can smell sincerity or not. and without that bit, I'm less inclined to help even if I can, that's me being cheeky - and picky haha
thanks for letting me call you on anytime! I appreciate that! Likewise!Noch Noch
argh! cold calling. first time i did that I was 23 years old in my first job. UNNERVING! wish i knew all this back then
i just kind of did it. smiled to myself, and called

i've never heard of this program. will look more into it. i think China can use with more programs like these, because people don't like admitting depression and anxiety in public and professional help is quite expensive too!Noch Noch
forgiving others were relatively easy. forgiving myself is much much harder. and i don't do that very well. sometimes i beat myself up over small things and create stress for myself! thanks for reminding us the importance of forgiveness, and to truly let go

a lot of us don't take ownership for our own world. we just exploit and deplete resources without thinking that we have responsibility, and so no one thinks about creating a different world order. we can change it. starting with ourselves!
I want to add more trust and respect to the world. and a bit of compassion and empathy...

i agree. we all need to be compensated for our time and value's worth. sometimes it's ok to take a cut, but i wouldn't sell myself short. good on you!

i think many of us in Gen Y feel this particularly, that this corporate track is so empty and void and has no meaning. we all need to build our own ladder

sometimes when writing becomes an obligation, i don't love it anymore, and my creativity feels drained. i have to take a break for a few days, even a week at times, to come back to it with, as you say, a fresh mind

i recently started using this app called "sleep cycle". it monitors my sleep cycle so that the alarm sets off when i'm nearly awake and won't scare me awake. I also like waking to natural light. always makes me feel like i had better sleep
