We can't help but label people. It's heuristic thinking, and we do it in stereotyping as much as we do it in our daily routines such as knowing how to order dinner at a restaurant. We rely on schemes and part of that confounds are ability to think about the clutch. And I would agree--in a lot of ways, it makes experiencing the game less fun and more compartmentalized.
