I wouldn't judge a parent for front-facing their baby in a carrier once in awhile, especially since some of the reasons not to are a little over the top - like making it harder to read baby's signs (if that's a real concern, I should probably throw my stroller in the trash). I do think the info on hip development in #1 is really good to know and I shared the article with a friend who's baby had hip dysplasia at birth.
