Maybe it was related to his deal with Samsung and he wanted to give everyone plenty of time to get a photo of him with their Galaxy's.

The most enjoyable part of a Tim McCarver broadast is reading the tweets. The best situation is when he's broadxasting a game that's out of market for you, so you get the pleasure of reading the tweets and not the pain of having ot listen to him.

Can she please replace Tim McCarver on MLB? I don't know how much she knows about baseball but anything would be better than Timmy.

Many of us watching the Mets game were expecting Timmy to be there (with Buck) since he had announced that they would be doing the game last week. I enjoyed reading the tweets about his inane comments much more than having to listen to him butcher the game I wanted to watch.

Wonderful, now 60 Minutes can start a full hour late every week.

@ChickenFriars In whose dream was Wright going to yield top level young talent? Trading him now would be the ultimate in "sell low" and clearly a mistake (plus they'd probably have to pay much of his salary to get rid of him). You haven't even corrected your glaring mistake blaming Alderson for the Mets 2010 performance. Of course, given that the whole premise of your article is wrong since it fails to take into account all the money being paid to Santana and Bay (as has already been pointed out), it probably doesn't matter if you change just one mistake.
