Those little balls were so easy to loose. Hence why it was a good idea to shut the doors, and block off anything they can roll under while playing it.

I still got one of the catapults, the cannon, and the crossbow. As for the rest of it, it's in the garage... somewhere.

I tried these out with the 3DS release of the game, and they don't work. Either because the controls on the 3DS aren't the same, or they removed them.
