I said "great." Hahah. I agree, "Home" was/ is a good song.
THIS is the Idol victory song? ugh. There hasn't been a great Idol coronation sing since season 3. Are there NO decent songwriters out there?
How cool if they brought out Marilyn McCoo to sing this with Candice and Kree.
Kree is a really good singer, but she's not in Candice's league. Which, if recent history dictates, means she'll probably win.
I know. I loathe his music. 55 could be hot though (well not if you're one of these commentators here) but not him.
Why does Pitbull look 55 when he isn't even 35?
I was never a fan of Houston's music, but she had a stellar voice.
Never saw her live, just going by the two CDs I've heard. And you know me - I hate vocal acrobatics. Good for her for not doing that!
Aretha is more than the merely "The Queen of Soul." She's the Queen, period - the greatest voice of the Rock n Roll era. Her string of Atlantic recordings is unparalleled.
I'm a little behind here. Just got through Adam Lambert and Angie's quite dull "Titanium." Sia is a mediocre-at-best vocalist, but that song is thrilling - and this performance lacked. I'm surprised, considering Adam Lambert's vocal ability.
Not
so ironic that Mariah Carey is singing a medley of her biggest hits on
Idol - I blame her overwrought, melismatic vocal histrionics for the
American Idolization of this generation of overwrought, melismatic
histrionic vocalists.
Sure, GLEE's been unbearable for the past 2 seasons, but it has sunk to an all-time low - tonight's episode was actually offensive. Good job, Ryan Murphy & Company!
Of course! I love them both! There haven't been singers of their caliber for years!
@Mikhail XO Stop thinking with your cock and start listening with your ears.
Through manipulation or not, finally there's a competition now that Lazarus Tinnitus is gone. Let the rest fall by the wayside and lick our lips in anticipation for the Kree/Candice finale.
Wow - sliding up that last night so effortlessly is hard. That was fucking gorgeous Candice!!!
I will almost guarantee Candice will be doing Adele's version of The Cure's "Love Song."
"The Dance" is a perfect song sung by the great Garth Brooks. It shouldn't be attacked like a High School talent showcase.
Simply simplistically lovely, Kree.
Well, not only should Robbie Williams sue, but David Archuleta should fly back from his missionary work and stuff Lazaro's bowtie down his throat.
But I gotta say this. He's comic gold from where I sit. He's a doofy, goofy-looking mess - sweating like a hooker in a cop car's headlights and mumbling his lines like a patient from American Horror Story: Asylum. And his PTS the con of the year.
I really hope he wins.
