well... thats unfortunate... but dont get me wrong... i do agree both KD and Westbrook both deserve the money they are getting.. I just know how selfless and team oriented they both are... thought it wouldnt be a bad idea
How out of the question is it that the Thunders 4 (Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka) all come together and say hey lets do whatever it takes to stay together and they all take a pay cut to not only keep all four of them but also gives room to put a decent supporting cast around them. Durant wants to win, so why wouldnt he say "yea I'll only get paid 9 million a year instead of 14 million a year if that means we all stay together. Because the best chance OKC has to win is with the group they have right now.
i agree with you both... these were trades offered to me i never made any on my own... though it is interesting with what you can get away with on there
and KD is at SG at the end of the game only that line up to close a game out is nearly unstoppable
if we did get Dwight... would his nickname change from Superman to Thor? just wondering
I can see how the worry of team chemistry would play into the trade... especially when you are the the top team in the league and already front runners to win the west and one of the top two to win the whole thing... but i also see what you mean... having Howard would turn our great team into a juggernaut

Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson to Memphis for Marc Gasol and Sam Young
interesting trade as i was just trying to get something for Robinson and this was the best thing that came up... ended up working as Gasol was much better in the post and had a better outside shot
and the real interesting one
James Harden and Reggie Jackson for Kevin Love
Made this trade after I also had Gasol. though losing Harden was a tough choice I thought just how great this "Tall" line up would be.
