He might be worth a gander as the backup pg and let maynor walk to free up some $$

@Keith00 @thunderinthuckotash @Fezzy yea I agree with that. This team is good but can be better with a better center. so its worth trading the existing center plus 1 or 2 guys and maybe a draft pick to sweeten up the deal. I just feel perkins wont be able to live up to his contract and there are more productive centers out there who cost around the same. I imagine what having a center who can run up and down the court with the rest of the team; sounds like a nightmare for opposing teams.

@Keith00 @thunderinthuckotash @Fezzy For instance trading Maynor and his 3.3 million salary, and lamb and his 2 million dollar salary? Perkins at 9 mil plus the 5 or so for those two puts is around 14 million space freed up.
@Fezzy THe benefit is having a center who you have to gameplan for, a guy who will grab 10 rebounds instead of 5. all those guys score more than perkins' 5pg. perkins is the 3rd best rebounder on the team. no center should be the 3rd best rebounder on his team. especially when his backup almost outrebounds him with less minutes. It would also be beneficial to have a more athletic center who can keep up with the thunder style of play and keep doing it late in the game. I tihnk ibaka would be a great C for the thunder but he's far too useful as a PF.
@Fezzy Yea, some of those would be more expensive than the 9 million perkins will make next year. But Thunder now has some cap room since they didnt have to pony up 16+ million to harden. Some of that money went to sign other players, but i think they could reasonably afford 10-13mil for a good center. HIbbert , Chandler, makes 13.6 million- not much more. But gortat, varejao, both make under 8 mil. the brooks bros make under 4 mil each, and horford is making 12 million. There's something that could possiby be worked.
@TempBoy Brandon The more they lose and suck, the more kobe will assume he just has to score more for them to win.
@Fezzy I like Gortat, Varajao, HIbbert, one of the Lopez' bros, Horford, and tyson chandler. Now they arent all as good defensively but sometimes perkins gets abused playing D too. I think chandler would be perfect for this team.
@Fezzy Isnt it always better when you have a player in mind? I have several players in mind. There are at least half a dozen centers I think can be reasonably acquired
@Fezzy Yes. Not just any center, which im sure some of you will assume I meant. But a better center.
I think Thunder should trade Perkins + lamb or maynor + 1st round pick for a Center. That would be balls.
@KellOne They just think a pg is going to change things. As if they dont have a hall of famer running the point as it already is.

@anonymous12345 @ou_sas @f5alcon @propsizzle Or calling the Thunder Oklahoma
Folks, it gets A LOT worse than Westbrook. That's all there is to it. And to think, he could be even better than he already is. Sick.
@Daniel Hawaii@f5alcon Well, it's 10 minutes per game. That's a better perspective to me.
2 years, 7 months ago on Would Kevin Durant consider restructuring his contract?
@Daniel Hawaii You should ask him
How about this for a trade: Westbrook and Perkins for Howard and Reddick. This was a trade i thought up before westbrook signed, and before maynor got hurt. So imagine having Maynor ready to take over the starting pg duties (or some 4-5 million$ distributor type)
