Jimmer inbounded the ball to HIMSELF. There's only so many ways you can blame one of Jimmer's mistakes on everyone else. Most of his turnovers are stupid passes or when he drives on an iso play and gets trapped.
5 months, 1 week ago on Jimmer Fredette talks NBA trade deadline and future with Sacramento Kings
And the solution is... play Jimmer? The guy with the 1.4:1 assist to turnover ratio?
Steve Novak... pretty much his entire career.
I don't believe the trade rumors because they got shot down. The front office is apparently high on McLemore. Maybe there's more it to than that, but it could all be conjured up by Boston.
I already did. Look up and maybe you'll see it.
We can never argue because you twist "honest" info into making it look better than it is and then disappear when you lose.
My mistake. Still doesn't mean Jimmer can do that on any given night.
Um, read it, and not care, and then forget about it.
Wow, you think everyone's just a fan of one individual player. How funny.
LIght up the best PG in the NBA (sorry, Jimmer). That's funny.
Knicks are a horrible defensive team.
Everything's a crime against humanity according to you, isn't it? What would you do if I told you that I think Jimmer sucks?
Yeah, pretty much. Jimmer can't handle starting point guard roles. Chris Paul would make him cry.
Please, please don't support it then. I'm sure everyone here would be very happy if you just didn't. Please... go. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
You do know that Jimmer would have a harder time as a starter, right? They're called "starters" for a reason. His points would go down, his assists would go down, and his efficiency would go down because they're STARTERS, and not bench players.
You know, this whole is amusing to me. I love seeing this because you (and the other Jimmer worshippers, but especially you) actually believe what you're telling yourself.
I suppose since no one wanted Jimmer there's a league-wide conspiracy on "abusing" Jimmer.
Because college and the NBA are the same thing. I know Jimmer's the darling of white non-basketball fans everywhere, but come on!
What does that make you? You watch the NBA for a turnover prone, no defense, slow bench guard that can shoot.
@Em Gee @Charger11
Many players in the league don't see playing time. Doesn't mean anything.
As a starter, it's 7 assists. Not quite 8, but compared to Jimmer's 4.7 per 36, it's better.
Meanwhile, Jimmer averages the most turnovers per minute on the entire team.
@Em Gee @Tom69223879
They tried to free Jimmer. Throughout yesterday and the day before, he was being shopped. They were even accepting just a second-round pick for him. No one wanted him, apparently.
@jliddmed @Demarcus Cousins
Per 36 is inflated in Jimmer's case and everyone knows it. Efficiency diminishes when their usage reaches a certain point.
Not to mention, it doesn't take into account opponents. Jimmer gets his points against bench players. If he played 36 minutes, he'd have to get the bulk of his points against starters, and he's not dropping 30 points against Rajon Rondo or Chris Paul, for example.
Jimmer cannot average 18 pts per game.
@Tom69223879 @zeke22@Em Gee
Jimmer is not a point guard. He's an undersized 2. He can't run an offense or handle the ball well enough.
Y'know, people give IT a lot of crap for shooting too much (which he does), but Jimmer takes a LOT of shots in the limited time he gets, and they aren't all good either. No matter who you are, pulling up from 30 feet when you could literally move closer is a stupid shot.
@Em Gee @Tom69223879
You guys have a distorted sense of crime. Paying millions of dollars to someone is a crime now, I guess.
Hell, I guess it's a crime that I don't play in the NBA either.
Dude, Jimmer inbounded the ball to HIMSELF.
Jimmer does have less value, apparently. Jimmer becomes a UFA at the end of the season. Mullins can potentially become an UFA at the end of the season while hurting a cap situation right now. Mullins was traded for a second rounder. Jimmer didn't even fetch that.
No, I wouldn't, because the two first rounders make it too much. But, if it were Jimmer for Rondo alone, I'd do it in a second while proclaiming the Celtics organization as the new God.
5 months, 1 week ago on CK Press Box Report: Golden State Warriors 101, Sacramento Kings 92
Pretty much. He opted out of the final year of his contract and became a free agent. Exactly what Mullins can do.
"Drafting" 'D and Malone? Are you actually kidding right now?
Do you know ANYTHING about how NBA contracts and trades work?
Simply put. YES, he's telling you Mullins could walk after this season.
Dude, Rondo when he's healthy is one of the best point guards in the league. I'd trade IT for a healthy Rondo in a heartbeat, though McLemore and the picks makes it too rich. Not like it matters though considering the organization already shot it down as false.
What actually remains to be seen is whether you would trade Jimmer for Rondo.
Yeah, I guess Iguodala left Denver for Golden State because the team is always in control, amirite?
Not to mention he inbounded the ball to HIMSELF. I'll give him a little leeway for just coming off sickness, but if there's any game for him to be benched, it's in his lethargic situation.
tocan, do you realize how horrifically bad Jimmer is at defense. It's a secret to no one who watches him. Thornton and IT may be bad, but they're no where near as bad as Jimmer at defense. Jimmer gives up .97 PPP, very near the bottom of the league.
Jimmer's not a scorer. He's a shooter. He can't score at will like a Jamal Crawford. He needs his teammates to set him up.

Hey, guess what, Chris? I don't care. You wanna know how much I care about DMC being a thug or not? None. And I don't care about your political agenda either.
I just ripped Jimmer's game to shreds, and all you do is spout crap about DMC and the Kings being thugs. Perhaps you can provide a few counters as to WHY Jimmer isn't a crappy basketball player.
Tell that to Chris.
He's shooting remarkably similar to Jimmer his rookie year, but I suppose you want to ignore that? Difference is, you can see McLemore has all the tools necessary to become a quality NBA player.
Well duh, Hamady's not the college darling of white non-basketball fans
across the country. Doesn't mean Jimmer's a good NBA player.
You wanna talk fact, Chris? We'll talk fact. Let's break down Our Lord and Savior's skillset and all his weaknesses.
of all, his strengths. 3-point shooting. There's no doubt that Jimmer
is a good shooter, through spot-up situations and through the
Isolation is where Jimmer really
struggles, when the defense takes advantage of his lacking athleticism.
He does not have the speed to create enough separation from his man,
and falls into help defense fall too often, which many times results in
For those who consider Jimmer a point guard,
his playmaking skills and his ballhandling leave a lot a lot to be
desired. His career assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.5:1, unacceptable
numbers. Oftentimes those turnovers come from an isolation situation,
while others he is simply incapable of taking the ball up court and
running the offense in even the slightest. However, if he is a shooting
guard, then this can be somewhat overlooked.
lastly, his defense. His biggest weakness. Thornton is bad defensively
and IT is no defensive stopper, but there is no understating Jimmer's
lack of defensive prowess. He rates in the bottom 20 of the league in
nearly every defensive category.
In nearly every
situation, Jimmer's height and lack of athleticism hurt him. Since he
can not jump high, it's very easy for opposing guards to rise up over
the top of him and shoot. It's happened before, many times. When
players look to cut, his poor instincts cause him to fall for some very
basic moves, and they blow right by him.
He has the unfortunate distinction of being too short to guard the 2, and too slow to guard the 1.
no fan of Thornton, and would like to see him moved as possible along
with Jimmer. You're not getting anything by playing either of them.
Though keep in mind that Our Lord and Savior is fifth in the guard
rotation for what is still one of the worst teams in the league. Seeing
him moved and relegated to the bench on another team makes me wonder
how many organizations you can call faulty. Any team with average
backcourt depth would be out of their mind to play Jimmer extended
Here, I'll simplify this for you a little bit. You wanna know why Jimmer sits on the bench. Because he is NOT. GOOD. AT. BASKETBALL. That's it. There's no abuse, and it's not criminal. He gets paid millions of dollars to sit his ass on the bench. You're making this out to be much more than it is, but what can I expect when we're talking about our professional, awesome, and most importantly, white Lord and Savior Jimmer.
Lots of NBA players don't get minutes. Get over it. Just because they're popular doesn't mean they're good. I suppose sending Hamady N'Diaye getting sent to the D-league is a crime against humanity. How dare this organization do that to a nice, wonderful professional!
I'm fine with DMC as the future of this team. I'm more worried about the Jimmer fans when they realize he may not be in this league much longer, which is a very real possibility if no one picks him up in free agency.
I doubt a trade is imminent. No one wants Jimmer.

Why does it matter to you guys? You're just Jimmer fans; he won't be in the league by the time the new stadium is built.
