@Dje @Tare And yet that final sentence is exactly what the Revie era teaches us. A manager who won things and left a healthy bank balance from the success. A manager who stressed keeping players and building on them over the years and creating a real community.
We're pointing to it all the time with Norwich, folk like Lorimer should be pointing to it through the example of the team they played in.

That's a decent first team wage. We SHOULD be able to afford double that for someone as important as Snoddy, as an exception, but we won't.

£16m the first year for the clubs that went down this season. Not sure about after that.
I think the most irritating thing for me personally is that Leeds is so big, our income has been bigger than teams even with para payments. Look at the financial results from April - and only £4m more for the teams demoted this season.
Yet we're spending it on apparent "vendettas" and corporate facilities.
He hasn't turned anything down, the offer is still on the table. And I've only heard rumours but none have been as high as 20k p/w
