@justin_mia  @OBoymuzik Ive seen Ibaka fly to the rim and do some incredible dunks. Hes already been mentioned as defensive player of the year, if only his offence was consistent

@OBoymuzik Hes still so young, if he can work hard and improve parts of his game like Durant then he could be a serious force. He has the potential to develop into the best big man in the league if he works really hard

Ibaka is already a good defender and one of the best shot blockers so if he can add an offensive post game he could develop into quite a special player

@TaoMaas Exactly! How can you be sued over a nickname? A nickname is given to you by someone else, so how can KD steal it if someone else started calling him it and it stuck.  This dude probably gave himself the nickname "Durantula" in which case it is not a nickname since he gave it to himself.#OldGolddigger

Man what an incredible game! As a Detroit Lions fan I can really can relate to this feeling, to see YOUR team clinch something as important as the NBA Finals in front of a diehard, maximum capacity crowd. Its a great feeling and a moment some of us will never forget, and as good of a feeling as this is just remember this is only the beginning!

@Skyline It was originally the Ford center due to a naming rights deal, and they diddent have anything to do with the construction, but since it looked and seemed very similar to ford field I guess I assumed they built it.  Still two of loudest venues in all of sports.

Why does it seem Ford builds the loudest buildings in sports? The Peake For NBA and Ford Field in the NFL have both been credited as being the loudest venue in their respective sports.  The lions MNF game was ronkus, one of the loudest events ive ever been to. Tomorrow night in a closeout game at the Peake I expect it to be even louder. Let em know why your called LOUD CITY!

This will be the biggest game we have ever played, and when the spotlight is the brightest and is centered directly on Durant he will shine. think of it like this, they still haven't played the best complete game their capable of playing, game six seems like a good opportunity

Ok Thunder fans, I know were not there yet buuuut. Who would you rather face in the NBA Finals? Boston or Miami? I see great storylines for both matchups, Perk facing his old family/team, Westbrook vs Rondo, the comparisons between Pierce and Harden. Then there's Miami, our big 3 vs their big 3, The two best players on the planet going head to head for their first rings, the two most talented teams in the NBA. Who ever it is, we will have gone through the hardest road with the most adversity of any team remaining.

@Barry Amenema I agree, Parker and the spurs defiantly tried to come out aggressive and beat us at our own game in transition after Ibaka picked up 2 quick fouls two minutes into the game. They looked like they tried to take advantage of Ibaka on the bench, going into the paint which lead to very sloppy play and a ton of turnovers, which eventually got us going after we came out cold.

@Daniel Plainview Same here, Love em both so much! and both teams are soo similar, young teams on the rise, both have the loudest venues in their receptive sports, both have their superstars and are just looking to put it all together. I was at that chrismas eve game where the lions clinched the playoffs and that high five lap they took around the stadium was our moment equal to the OKC fans welcoming home the team at the airport

@ThunderBelize  @Skyline They were talking about this during the game last night, they still gave Miami the slight edge, but I just think that the combination of any two of our 5 best players (KD, Russ, Harden, Ibaka, Thabo) will end the fast break nicely every time.

I think Charles Barkley explained this best last night. The Lakers have their backs against the wall, game 3 is a 'must win' for them (since nobody has ever comeback down 3-0) They are going to play the game at 110% which plays right into the thunders hands with games 3 and 4 back to back. Even if the Lakers win Friday they will be gassed on Saturday and will probably lose, heading back to OKC down 3-1. If they lose Friday, everyone will smell the sweep Saturday.

@shorthorns4 Totally agree! He doesnt need to start but he deserves starter minutes and HE SHOULD be more involved late in games. Brooks can run some serious offense through him to get the ball to KD when we need to play 1/2 court offense.

@BRY BRY I wish we could have Nash at PG! Seeing Westbrook at SG and Nash at PG in the all star game was making me realize thats where he should be playing. If we had Nash (a pass first PG) then Westbrook could slide to SG and let him attack the basket as much as he wants without the outside pressure on him for assists. KD could see more touches and better opportunities for buckets off of Nash assists. Finally Harden could fit in as a true sixth man, and come in for nash when the old man gets tired.

@Lost Ones  @sammasaaron  @Old The problem is nobody is keeping Perk in check. Back in Boston there was always Doc or KG to hold him accountable. Doc & KG were always chirping at him, keeping him in the 'mindset', They were pretty hard on him coming up and he had to do alot of growing up to get minutes from doc. Brooks needs to pull him aside, or call him out in the filmroom and let him know: that's the kind of performance we expect from him every night.
