@Calavera you make some valid points. but seriously, you think that he will pocket the money and not use it for what the fans intended ? Do you think that the movie will not come out ? maybe you are right about some of these things, if so, and if the fans ever realize that he is trying to screw the people who donated, what will happen next ? It is a little sad that there is something inherently unfair about this but you can look at it in a different way. If he is screwing us, then one day we will know. and that will be the birth of the avgm, "angry video game mob", which will seek justice. I do wonder how much he really does make from youtube and all the other channels that get millions of views. If there were more knowledge and transparency, there would be no need for this paranoia. For now I will stick to my gut feeling that James is genuine, and not evil in any way.
@xisthisloadedx If you donated money to the cause and wondered what he was spending it on, would you be happy if he spent it on something that he could've gotten otherwise, from willing and able friends and fans, for free? By your logic, most likely, he would be broke before the movie even got a chance to be completed. Sure, tap into the budget, on things that you could probably get for free, that is genius.
