I wish the kid the best. The few times I saw him run the offense, he looked kinda shakey. Ely will be the next great QB.

Auburn, LSU and Ark are all looking at stadium improvements and more seats. A&M would be foolish to not look into improving or replacing Kyle Field. There is precedence for ending use of a stadium with historic ties to a university. Alabama stopped playing at Legion Field. It was in Alabama's best interest. Bryant-Denny had more seating and there was no chance Bham was going to update or enlarge the old grey lady.
Its going to take a lot of adjustments on both sides. Shut down defenses like UGA, Bama, LSU won't have any problems rattling the Mizzou QB. UF, UT, Vandy UK, might have the most trouble with flag football.. ARK & USC will probably be shoot outs.
The title game should rotate between Atlanta & New Orleans.
I support the 9 game schedule. I'd much rather see Bama play 3 SEC East teams. Two cupcakes is plenty to open the season. The other conferences are going to nine games and aren't exactly looking to add SEC team( outside of state rivals) to their schedule. Its not the SEC's place to fund the Sunbelt, C-USA & MAC and the lower divisions athletic departments.
Bama/Tulane Alum 90 Fan here, I have to agree with the article. Bama had a fairly easy schedule and blew the Nov 5th game. LSU had a rough schedule and pounded everyone except Bama on Nov 5th. There had to be something behind the locker room door going on in New Orleans. Miles won all the big games, but just ran into a buzzsaw in New Orleans. 21-0 should have been 49-0.
The coming season will tell a lot about Miles. Is it the deep talent winning or good coaching. I have a feeling LSU loses a few unexpected games in the coming Season.
Football Season can't get here quick enough. I've long thought A&M should have been in the SEC. Missouri is a bonus on top of everything.
I am in support of a nine game conference schedule. Kansas and Texas need to rethink not scheduling their biggest rivals. Its childish and only deprives their fans

The coming SEC Network's need for programming will make the 9 conference game schedule a necessity. The 9 game schedule also probably means more conference additions. (Oklahoma & OSU anyone?) College football isn't like it was during the Coach Bryant & Coach Jordan days.
We easily forget college football is played by kids. Miles comments were uncalled for. He either needs to apologize to the kid and LSU Fans.

I see no harm in KC getting a shot at hosting the SEC BB Tourney. It moves to different cities each yr. KC might spur more interest in SEC BB.

btw Looking forward to seeing the new schools compete in the SEC. Missouri should just fine in football in the East. A&M on the other hand are going to have to get back to 3 yards and a cloud of dust to compete in the West.
