@jaws3 Uh no...1.8 million Euros thats like what? 2.2 million dollars? So then it's what? 6.8 mil for 3 years?! C'mon Spurs were not going to give him that but yeah you're right, he probably could have made that and some with endorsements AND he would have definitely upped his game under Pop and Timmy. And it probably would have sold out the At&t center with a bunch of mexicans but it is what it is. He'll come to regret that decision, later on will he see what he passed up like most retired players Spurs tried to pick up look back on now.

I say they should let them duke it out for the last roster spot. Baynes vs. Ayon. They are both decent player seeing as it is the 15 spot. It´s great being a Spurs fan and the team having these types of problems. Spoiled aren´t we?!

Francisco Cruz from Mexico is playing pretty good in the FIBA World Cup. Too bad Mexico as a team is trash.

As a Spurs fan I don´t like this trade either... Jefferson is an upgrade but we are giving up some awesome role players, arguably the best in the league for someone we don´t really need. No disrespect but I take offense to your statement. "There is no reason to give up big Al for nothing." Splitter is a notch below Al Jefferson and S Jax and Patty Mills could be starters for teams like the Cavs or the Wizards and decent sixth men for teams like the Bulls or Knicks. Spurs have the deepest bench in the league and the best record for a reason. Apart from our big 3 we got super subs too.

This is the Spurs, nobody is going to make more than the big three, I don´t care how good they are or if another team is willing to pay them more. They have set the example in sacrificing for the team. This is the culture within this organization and this particular system and I´m pretty sure Tiago will do the same if he hasn´t already talked about a contract extension, but we will find out by the trade deadline.

Give CP3 5 min. of playing time Pop and put TP in the rest of the way, same goes for Timmy, put em in there and take out Dwight Howard for a good chunk. Showcase them Tone City boys!

Um no. Spurs drafted Manu and Tony. Tony was the last pick in the first round and Manu in the second round. But yes Duncan did take few paycuts to have quality role players surounding him.

@jjkaralis  @JimmyPriour  @CraigThomasSorry but KG has and always will be dumpster juice! He is not even close to being compared to TD. Only TD has been called the best Poward Forward ever. For Karl Malone (who is the only other who should be compared to TD) to adimit it is obvious. Timmy is in a class all his own. KG is good maybe even great, but not one of the all time greats.

Cory Joseph for Gustavo Ayon seems doable. He´s a big man we need in the paint, who can learn a thing or two from Timmy D. I say do it! Call Utah R.C. see if there´s something doable there! A deal for derrick williams seems unlikely to me plus he just doesn´t seem like a Spurs type player, doesn´t fit the profile I guess you could say.

Yeah I can remember the last time the fake show pulled a stunt like this. You obviously don´t. Shaq, Kobe, Karl Malone, Gary Payton? That fakers team was better than this one that has just been assembled. Tell me how that went for em. You know that´s one of the reasons I hate teams like the fake show and the Heat...they think they can just buy a championship...they´re the Yankees of basketball!

Everyone wants to see the Spurs get better, but overspend on so-so players and we´ll be just like the lakers or some other sorry teams with no cap relief in sight. Remember we´re a small market team where not many big time prized free agents want to play not cause we can´t pay, but cause we aint Hollywood or Miami beach.

Hey rtesoro440 please shut it already bruh. It is true...you put some out there posts and quite frankly, it does get annoying. Not trying to make ya feel butt hurt, but for real tone it down bruh. Be a little more humble about posting. I know the Spurs lost when they should have celebrated a parade down the Riverwalk. Most of us are confused and disapointed about it as well, but there´s always next year and it´s not like SA has the freakin Bobcats or anything and at the end of the day... it´s just a GAME!!!

I couldn´t imagine the Spurs winning a title this year let alone in the way they´re going about it with 19 game winning streaks. But I said it last year and I´ll say it again, I want to see Timmy go out on top like the admiral but more and more it looks like if they can keep this same team together and add another big man, these Spurs have a good chance at a repeat next year.

We could always let him be TP´s backup or Neal´s or Patty Mills even. You want a ring Nash? Come be a backup pg for the Spurs. We´ll letcha play garbage time only, so don´t trip, but you´ll get your ring you want so bad.

Naw this is a great move. Capt Jack can be a spark off the bench and RJ? Didn´t we want to amnesty him at the start of the season? Now we can amnesty Bonner and his bloated contract can´t we? And yep the Spurs traded up in the draft for Kawhi and I do believe we got the better end of the deal so I trust RC and what he´s doing. I give the FO an A- on this trade. If needed we can trade Bonner and or Blair on draft day. GO SPURS GO!!!

Duncan, Parker and Ginobili are very special players right up there with David Robinson, Sean Elliot, Avery Johnson and the "Iceman" George Gervin. When their careers are over they will be considered the three best Spurs ever. I´m so glad I´ve lived through this era and got to see them play.
