@zarranova Absolutely! You can print out the article (there's a button at the top next to our social media icons). I'd also recommend checking out this 30-minute bodyweight exercise workout that's a bit more compact :) http://greatist.com/fitness/no-gym-bodyweight-workout-infographic/
@PaulClayton Paul, thanks so much for your comment. The team work aspect is definitely what makes this GORUCK unique. I'm glad you've had such a great experience with it — good luck with the Heavy challenge!
@jgarma Haha, it is the simple things! Wool socks are great, esp for hiking to keep the feet warm. Thanks for the suggestion and for reading!
@buddyboy27 Hi there — we got the information from the study's abstract (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23066826) as well as a supplemental piece from Science Daily: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/12/121219133600.htm. Thanks!
@natmelchiorre @lschwech setting phone reminders is such a good idea! I love adding lime to mine.
@jaross4021 I'm sorry you feel that way — hopefully the links and studies in the works cited will change your mind. We really try to provide the best and most honest information! Also, this post was sponsored by Warrior Dash, and written by the editorial team here at Greatist.
@Staleek Thanks for your comment and engagement. That article definitely was controversial and I'm sure stirred up lots of conversation. I'm glad you agree we're one of the best sites at providing high-quality, honest information. That's why we're here!
@buddyboy27 It looks like that cereal is whole grain puffed millet, which has 2 grams of protein and 1 gram of fiber for 1 cup. A slightly better option than commercial puffed rice for sure! Although it still lacks the vitamins.
@SarahSturgis awesome! glad you're making the change :)
@rfoshee compared to other alcohol, especially wine. We found that calorie by calorie, champagne is a little less caloric. And portions are usually a bit smaller too!
@PhysiqueRescue Absolutely — a lot of noise around this study focuses on the aerobic training group losing the most weight. The combo group actually lost weight and gained muscle, which for many people is the most desirable out come. We discussed that in the final section.
@jasonshen Hi Jason — thanks for reading! The article has been updated to reflect the details of the resistance workout.
@Staleek Hi there — the researchers published a concurrent dietary analysis in a different journal, and the article's been updated to reflect that. Hope it makes more sense now!
@greenthickies Sure! Just make sure to credit the photographer and Greatist — thanks for sharing it!
@marielmentink We do! It's the small icon right below the "health tag" next to the title! Hope this helps :)
@JonDyer Fantastic point! I will share this with our editorial team and see how we can potentially cover something like this.
@Nick Goodall You're so right! If only getting enough sleep was that easy :)
