Also on those bad attempts, two of them were taken with the shot clock under four seconds. So even though they weren't open looks they still had to be taken.
The hashtag/Storify version of Lion Face/Lemon Face is not nearly as entertaining as the previous with supporting highlights and stats.
@KirkSeriousFace @EthanSherwoodStrauss Found it: "The 24-second clock shall remain the same as when play was interrupted or reset to 5seconds, whichever is greater, any time on jump balls retained by the offensive team as theresult of a held ball caused by the defense"
From the 2011-12 rule book: http://www.nba.com/.element/mp3/2.0/sect/podcastmp3/PDF/2011-12-NBA-RULE-BOOK.pdf
It's a relatively new rule, as it's not on the HTML version of the rule book (http://www.nba.com/analysis/rules_7.html?nav=ArticleList)
@KirkSeriousFace Do you know the rule that enabled the shot clock to get reset? I've never heard of that before.
When I saw that play I thought it was a travel too. Especially after they showed the replay. But unfortunately I can't watch your super slow mo version since it's been pulled down in the US: "This video contains content from UMG, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."
