Haha oh man I was just thinking... what if James really took that first mailbag to heart and we are about to witness the most bizarre and perverse pornographic re-imagining of AVGN?

It really is hard to do things legit in LA without a ton of money. I wish you the best of luck, and even if this doesn't make it to theaters, I hope that you at least are able to sell it to Netflix and that it will open many more doors for you!

@TheShamster Speaking of Harry Potter and the troll that was on the loose earlier... did you know that one of the main characters in the movie Troll was named Harry Potter? lol

@Jarnor I totally agree, the main message of the movie is that of Sesame Street as a whole: That everyone can get along and live together happily, no matter your race, background, or species for that matter. The secondary message is more of a nod to parents and adults.Of course we both forgot to mention that Follow That Bird has a huge amount of star power with all of the cameos and villains played by great comedians of the day.

As far as Elmo is concerned, he wasn't on the show when I was watching it. I don't mind him as a character and I think that he does add to the show, however I don't think that he should be the focus of the show. The whole point is that it is an ensemble cast. When I was a young tyke there was no main character except for maybe Big Bird, but overall the time was pretty evenly split between all of the characters and they didn't ram one down your throat. Imagine SNL revolving around Kristen Wiig, as much as I like her in small doses, that wouldn't be much fun to watch! Another major difference is that Jim Henson had nothing to do with this one. RIP.

I recently watched Follow That Bird, and it is still amazing and hilarious! The whole movie is a commentary on how the government shouldn't interfere with our lives. The best part was that as the movie goes along and the characters are all out trying to find Big Bird, Cookie Monster is slowly but surely eating his entire car. By the end of the movie there is hardly anything left. The whole thing is just off the wall and great, especially since they get away from Sesame Street itself. I would actually say it is like a Pee-wee's Big Adventure for the Pre-School aged kids. Road movies are always a great way to go- just like what James is doing with the Nerd movie!

I just watched the movie "Being Elmo" last week. This is a perfect followup to that! Nice job Mike!

WilliamDelca Also not to go off on a complete tangent... but why in the world would Naboo elect a 14 year old to be the queen of their planet?? The love story would have been much more effective between a similarly aged Anakin and Padme as one of the queen's handmaidens. Without the stupid twist that she actually is the queen of the planet. Give me a break! This reminds me, I watched part of the Oprah interview with George Lucas at Skywalker Ranch. It was pretty interesting. She actually asked him when was the last time that someone told him "no". Of course he couldn't even remember, lol.

WilliamDelca I always thought that Phantom Menace, and the rest of the prequels, could have been made a lot better if they time shifted the entire series 10 years forward. That way when we meet Anakin he would be around Luke's age. You could still have him as a slave and the pod-racing and all of that stuff too I suppose. The biggest problem that I always had was that the timeline of the movies doesn't really work, especially since Amidala never ages while Anakin is growing up.

Ever since Obi-wan first mentioned the Clone Wars in Episode IV, I had always assumed that would mean something a little more sinister than what became Episode II. Imagine how much cooler it would have been if Palpatine was creating clones of different important politicians or people around the galaxy and then assassinating the originals in order to replace them with clones loyal to him! It would be sort of like Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

I would love to remake the prequels some day with better stories and characters, too bad that will never happen lol.

Mike I really appreciate how much better you have gotten at this over the past couple of years. You have moved from an occasional guest to hosting your own videos. I also think it is was good move to drop the "Motherfukin Mike" and "Motherfukin Mondays" titles from your work because it really brought down the quality. Keep up the good work and I look forward to what else is to come!

I bet that the pole on the side helps with detecting your head position so that the goggles can know when your head turns. Good thing that we have accelerometers now!
