@KD's Pocket Guide To Defying Physics @strangelove_hitchcock Are you suggesting we give him the banana up the tailpipe?
@strangelove_hitchcock @KD's Pocket Guide To Defying Physics Some of us like Norbit.
@Michael Kimball @Sonicsgreen See how I liked all his posts? Now watch me take them all away, just like his team.
Let's just discuss what makes sense.
Jackson will be playing PG, and he is at his best driving to the hoop. He will be guarded by Beverley.
Perkin's greatest use on offense is setting screens. Beverley is a green player and is playing hyper-aggressively to prove a point.
It is perfectly normal to have RJ roll to the basket and be screened by Perk. And again. And again. And again.
I'm not talking about a forearm to the face. Just legit basketball give the particular circumstances.
@f5alcon @Ozarkhick @KidCanada13 All things in good measure. Don't make it look bad.
Let him know you are there, and offer to pay for his dental fillings to get redone afterward.
@KidCanada13 Perkins doesn't go out and try to hurt anybody. He just sets hard screens.
That is all.
@Dicharden Nothing is Perk's fault. Beverly is green and didn't respect the presence of the enforcer.
Note I said "appearing"
Nobody should try to hurt Patrick Beverly.
At the same time it is Perkin's job to set "significant" screens for Thunder point guards.
Perk must find a difficult balance this game - doing his job without appearing to be going for vengeance.
Just read the Bolts.
Did Carlson really write "Ad Nausea", or was that a transcription error?
If not, lulz...
@NotSoAnnoyed @KatieLL @d21 He's like Jim Breuer. He just looks high, even when he isn't.
@Bryson But wat about the local boy, Rotnei?
He's just all hustle, spit, and puppy dog tails.
Throwback playa.
Rotnei Clarke is gonna kick butt for Maccabi Tel Aviv some day. He ain't Jewish. He just looks like he's gonna wind up playing for them some day.
Call it a "premonition".
Hate to say it homies, but looks like the Big 12 was the most overrated conference this year....
@ElMexiThunder If TCU can do it, why can't the shittiest part of Kentucky?
@f5alcon @JimboSlice still have a funny feeling that one might pass protection...
First player to impress me in the tourney :
Echinique for Creighton - shame he isn't big enough to translate at the next level with that style of play.
@CLthunderfan I'm an old fart myself, it's just back then I watched college ball and not pro, and I loved it. Now I watch it and it just seems an order of magnitude shittier than it used to be.
I'm just trying to figure out how much is NBA acclimatization vs. actual regression in the college game.
