Yeah it is a real blow now Americans won't win any slam. Jeez. look what your writing before you post it. It is no blow to tennis.. It is great. He is a garbage player and a brat on the court. Good riddance.
Never liked him and never will. Good riddance. Totally over rated garbage tennis player who hits the ball straight. Great serve but most players figured out to just block it and put it back in play. Roddick was always a dick on the court a wanna be bad a*S. He should have retired couple yea rs ago. He looks great on American scene because he is compared to the other trash like Blake and Fish. So out of all the garbage he stands out. Thanks for finally retiring. No one wants to see you anyway. People watch tennis for Nadal, Federer , Djokovic , Murray, Tsonga, Delpo. Guys that have class and let their racquets to the talking. Big talk suits people like Johnny Mac and Connors because they had huge game and were not one slam wonders. Also the one slam Roddick won was thanks to the cheating by linesman in te semifinal against Nalbandian on Match point.
@Whiznot @evan2k I'm a huge Federer fan and will always will be. But at the end of the day I have nothing but respect for Nadal and his game . The guy is an incredible fighter. I think it's easy for people to go to a website and post bunch of crap about Nadal and how supposedly he is faking injuries. Reality is his game does require a lot of labor. That is I guess the weakness in his game. Whether you are a Federer fan or Nadal fan please show respect to both these legends as they have both given us not oly the greatest memories in tennis but a present of a lifetime that we can always look back at.

Losers bashing Federer again. Please look at yourself before you bash a class act like Fed. Go find a job or go make a few bucks so you have food for tomorrow. Losers. No one cars about Davis cup. It is amazing how most losers will jump on the band wagon to bash Federer. Most of you are Nadal fans. I have nothing but respect for Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. Everytime Nadal got ahead he choked. He won set#1 then started standing 10 feet behind baseline and let Djokovic dictate play. Then again he got ahead in 5th and choked. Nadal has a huge huge mental block and after coming this close and losing it will only get worse. I hope that in their next match he can turn it around.
This is to all Rafa fans. I like Rafa but you guys are annoying. Part of that is for the direspect you have for Federer. Now i want to ask you a question how can Rafa be the GOAT when he cannot beat DJokovic. By the way DJokovic and Rafa almost same age where as Federer is almost 31 now. So next time do not ever fucking even think of posting who is the GOAT. DJokovic owns all of you. Love Rafa and his play but cannot stand only those annoying people who criticizer Federer. Federer is the king he has 16 Rafa has 10. For now he reamins the king.
One of best matches i have seen. I feel like Murray played better and still lost. What matters now is where does Murray go from here and how quickly he can forget about the loss and move forward like champions do. For Djokovic i have to say the guy deserves all the victories he gets. He is not my favorite player but very hard not to admire how cool and calm he is when he is under pressure or down in a match.
Am a Federer fan but i admire Nadal. Well said. People like Berdych can learn from Nadal and be more humble.
Murray is the biggest loser in the game of tennis. The guy has no self believe. He has a good game. He is an improved version of another boring loser Tim Henman. Murray is very unlikely to win because he is a choker. If he gets down against a big player in a big match he starts giving up. Also he is very passive and never takes his chances. I hope he wins because i have nothing against the guy.. However he is sometimes miserable out there.
