@_justin  Agreed. The second half was not a disaster. Losing to the Lakers would be a mini disaster given the math.

@FF_pickups  There was no need for Perk tonight given the way Kerr lined his team up. Nick didn't play.. he shouldn't have. But neither should have Perk. But in defense of Brooks ---Reggie, Lamb, Morrow and Jones gave him very little. But I agree--the same old Spoelstra deal only on the West Coast.

@Wizard of Westbrook MVP Faction @El Prez  He scored four points by my unofficial count. He had four rebounds. These two have a great opportunity tomorrow night at Staples. I would have taken Shaun Livingston over either one of them tonight. Show me something.

Russ, KD, Andre, Serge and Steven competed. That's all you ask. As far as the Reggie, Lamb and Perry Jones... at some point these three guys have to learn to just basically compete at this level. Just compete. Andre and Steven didn't shrink from the moment. They'll be okay. Somebody want to tell me why Reggie Jackson is worth $12 million.

23 minutes, 4 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 turn  .. this in a game from the team's third most skilled offensive player when his team needed something, just anything from him with KD down.

Team competed hard. They didn't quit. Russ needed  someone to pass to who looked like they wanted the ball. I never saw that look from either Reggie or Lamb.

@Jabb0310 @El Prez  It's really hard to respect Nick in the end. He may not be as evil as Amy, but certainly lacking in character. They deserved one another is the way I saw it in the end. Who else as a mate would put up with either one of them? I like the fact we're talking NY Times bestsellers instead of watching feeble Eastern Conference basketball. I wish we could start a DT bookclub.

@Jabb0310 @El Prez  Yes. The movie pretty much followed the book, but obviously like most movies -- the book was better. Especially this story because Amy and Nick tell it in first person narrative in alternating chapters. Reading the book gives you much deeper insights to the warped nature of both characters. They really deserve one another. What part didn't you like?

Great hockey game! Pittsburgh Pens beat the Colorado Avalanche 1-0 in OT, Game winner by Blake Comeau who's having a great year to go along with Sid and Malkin. Beware of the Pens this season. Replaced Dan Blysma with Mark Johnston as head coach and they are playing some great hockey. My Bruins swooning so far this season. Not scoring enough goals.

@Johnny Thunder @El Prez @ThunderChick2010 @propsizzle  I'm white. My name is Michael Jackson. Went to John Marshall which is a tough racially mixed inner city school in OKC. Learned survival skills there. Justin is rather meek compared to what I went through there. Made me a mentally tough adult. Brooks should send Reggie and Lamb over to John Marshall for a month.

@ThunderChick2010 @El Prez @propsizzle  It would have been very innocent at that point. You were going on a trip to Seattle or something. Asked what you should wear. I said you should wear Thunder garb all over Seattle because I did the same when I was there for the OU-Washington football game. Something like that. The washing machine came later. That's what set Justin off. I thought it was a tame comment for this place.

@N0tres @KC_Thunder  Royce writes a good recap. I enjoy his recap. Long before I ever posted over here I was reading his recap. I honestly could care less about the Bolts because I have a better feel for the Thunder than the national bloggers used as sources. But Royce has a good feel for the team minus his take on Derek Fisher. Fisher had to play because of the emotional fragility of Reggie, Lamb and Jones. Royce runs a good blog. He's fair. I would have banned my ass the first month. I was a complete dictator on my hockey blogs. Totally ruthless. Be lucky you have Royce and Mrs. DT.

@d21  He's currently a top five backup point guard/Sixth man who has the luxury to play along two of the game's best three players in the world in closing lineups. Kind of like Chalmers had the luxury of playing with James, Wade and Bosh. Reggie is a nice player who should never be more than the third best player on a team with serious title aspirations. But I agree...he'll get his money. His emotional fragility does not lend itself to being 'the guy' in  tough night to night grind situations. Kind of surprising in that he comes from a military family.

Numerically--this game holds no more significance than tomorrow's game against the Lakers. The Thunder are playing a game of math. But high level athletes do get jacked when they're playing elite level competition. You'd have to had played some sports to understand this. Backgammon doesn't count.. although I learned to play high level tournament backgammon from a couple of hustlers at racquetball tournaments in my younger days. The four-three roll always intrigued me in blocking my opponent's escape from his home zone.

Watched an interesting interview by Boone. Just said to enjoy it for about nine to twelve months as the active drill count goes down and smaller producers are weaned out. Active rig count has already decreased by twenty-nine. In recent years North America's imported oil dependency has decreased from 60% to 30%. Russia and Putin will be fascinating to watch in the coming months as their petro revenue and the ruble decline. I love Boone. Very interesting dude. Kind of ironic he allows a guy from Midwest City to dangle him.
