@_justin @El Prez @Kong Lambchop @L0rv @SeinfeldOKC [Kobe faction]  Are we really arguing over two million dollars over the course of four years? Then give him the 12 million if accepts his role. That's not being tight, that's expecting maximum team value in return for your buck.

@_justin @Kong Lambchop @L0rv @SeinfeldOKC [Kobe faction]  I'd be okay with paying him 11.5 maybe if he accepted the role Brooks has outlined for him. But it seems he wants want more than that. I'm not going to pay a guy close to $12 million to play a role which doesn't maximize the team's opportunity to win a championship . Call me old school. Call me whatever. The argument for keeping Harden was/is different than this one.

@GlendaGonzales @El Prez  I view him as an effective player within the role Brooks has given him. I view him as player who could help OKC win a championship or two as the sixth man and in late game lineups alongside Durant and Westbrook.

@Biologist @El Prez  He would have to understand and accept his place on the food chain. I would have him getting paid near or just below what Serge is being paid. Presti must maintain some order and rational thought to what he pays his top players. What has he really earned though? I mean superstars are put in tough situations, tough surroundings. That's why they're compensated. That's why somebody shows them the money.

What has happened to Reggie Jackson's forays to the rim? In his last three games combined he's 12-44 from the field. His minutes the last three games have not been savage-- 37, 34, 37. It's not like Brooks has run him into the ground. The competition in the last three games has not been daunting Houston at home, then typical NBA also rans....Utah and Denver.

Is Reggie Jackson really a guy any team would label as a franchise type player? Is he worth max or near max level money?

Or is he just what most of us  who have watched him play night in and night out thought--- a really good sixth man who can play alongside Durant and Westbrook in certain situations when they are creating his space and time with frontline players on the floor?

Another thing if I'm a GM...does this guy have the emotional balance over the long, tough haul to even be put in a scenario where he has to carry or lead a team? The fluctuations in his demeanor are worrisome. Not long ago...we were told of his own doubts about being an NBA level player. His own self confidence issues. Then the career game against the Grizz, some of the absurd comments he's made of his own game, then the barely audible, almost crying, child-like whisper answers he gave Darnell after clanking game and perhaps season changing shots against Detroit and Houston.

In all seriousness--I keep reading on here by certain posters that Reggie Jackson is entitled to his money? And my answer would be the money he's entitled to would be equal to whatever the current top three sixth men are getting paid adjusted for the future economic changes to come. What has he really earned beyond that?

I worry about Scott Brooks. His eyes were hollow last night at his presser. I thought he might strangle Reggie on the first timeout of the second half when Reggie gave him a wtf lookoff...which said, "What now?" I'm worried about Brooks. I worry about him.

OU games pisses me off way more than the Thunder. A sequence of bad decisions by Hield, Woodward and Cousins down the stretch. Bad passes. Bad decisions. Lazy perimeter defense in the second half. Extremely disappointing play by OU's guards tonight.

@GlendaGonzales @El Prez @Old Man Game  BBIQ is very limited because he's relatively new to the game. Doesn't really have an intuitive feel to play the game offensively. Justin cities his lack of dribbling skills. His lack of instinctive feel of how to play off others and create for himself are my major concerns. But I think he's an excellent role player who will be fine when Russell gets back. To a lesser degree.. sme thing with Steven Adams. Both will be markedly better offensively with Durant and Westbrook on the floor. Same thing with Morrow. See the consistent theme...role players who mesh with Durant and Westbrook. Don't mind being role players.

@Mother Teresa @El Prez @SeinfeldOKC [Kobe faction]  Dallas would be a good spot for Reggie . OKC would be better for his career longevity as  the best sixth man in the NBA, but he's not into any of that. So Dallas would be a nice spot for him. If he ends up in Milwaukee...I guess you could say he and Parker could work well together. He should go to Dallas.

@Kong Lambchop @El Prez  Yes. My poll right now would read 1 Alabama, 2 Florida State, 3 Oregon, 4 Ohio State, 5 Miss State, 6 TCU, 7 Baylor, 8 would have this open considering teams like Michigan State, UCLA and Georgia. Ohio State's win over the Spartans is more impressive than Miss State's best win . Miss State currently only has one Top 25 win on their resume.  SEC West has beat itself to death. It's a shame they didn't expand to an eight team format for the playoffs.

Denver giving up 107 points a game. OKC has no real offensive tendencies except every third or fourth game someone has a surprising individual performance which leads to a random win. Pace against Denver on the road will be interesting tonight. Moving the Thunder points scored to 91.5. Father gets first choice of over/under. Winning and losing means nothing to me now. Just hitting the points scored by the Thunder. Kind of an escapist way to avoid reality.

@Di_charden @El Prez  It's not an effort thing at all. They've played hard. They just don't have a go to guy offensively. That being said, I fully expect some NBA team to offer Reggie Jackson a $13 or $14 million dollar per year deal. I guess I don't fully understand minimalism. Do you understand minimalism? Explain it to me before I google.

@_justin @seth_22 @El Prez  I agree. Even with Russ...there would have been some very ugly stretches of offensive basketball. But it would have taken a great deal of heat off Reggie Jackson. Even with Russ...OKC is probably a No. 9, No. 8 or No. 7 type team. There's a reason Kevin Durant has won an MVP and those scoring titles. He's the most talented offensive player in the world.

Kansas might be vunerable this season. OU mens basketball has a chance to make itself relevant again with the fans in this market.
