@Legendary_Dork @The Anti Perk @ChilamBilam12  lol, Presti doesn't need to say anything for the facts to remain true.. whether he admits it or not Perk has no outside value to any true contender and that isn't any kind of secret.. either we pay him a sick amount of money for multiple seasons and he costs us on the floor, or we pay him a lot of money anyway and get rid of his horrible affliction on the floor.. either way we are out the cash that we never should have committed in the first place, but we can salvage a solid starting lineup if we decided to amnesty him... no need to be a smartass man, i get you sick of hearing about it, but i'm writing until something is done or the topic is dead

@OLADIPO @ChilamBilam12 yes you could, if Brooks would do so.. which is about as likely as congress doing something productive in my lifetime.. so essentially, it isn't happening without him being unavailable, aka "gone"

Presti and Royce cannot truly use the idea of sustaining and building for the future, and retaining Kendrick Perkins in the same line of thought can they?.. Perkins is like a plague, he not only hurts directly through his own lack of production and talent, but his existence on the floor destroys potential productivity of other players.. the thought of him remaining is just sickening

@OLADIPO @ChilamBilam12 can i answer all of the above?.. we would lose some money in the short term no doubt, but the gains made in offensive spacing, chemistry, floor movement and essential rebounding would grow by leaps and bounds

@TheresABabyFaceUnderMyBeard @ChilamBilam12 so this would mean removing him from the starting lineup which is essential.. and then pulling him only for occasional defensive situations, such as guarding Howard or Duncan.. which would be fine if we were not paying him 9 million a year, which is not anywhere near the kind of cash you pay to a 10-15 minute a game player.. that is the only issue i have with this

I'm truly disappointed in Presti and the Thunder organization if they cannot see past the monetary situation and on to the greater good of this team.. Perkins is a complete waste of team assets, and negatively impacts his team mates while on the floor in a number of ways while costing the team an unfathomable amount of money that could be spent on a center with "talent", or at least the ability to catch a rebound and turn it into the occasional layup.. nothing positive can come out of keeping Perkins on this team, none, and after this post season his trade value is less then 0, so the amnesty clause is the only means of getting rid of this dead weight... please Presti, be reasonable

the only way, and i mean the only way that this post season was worth anything, is if we manage to amnesty Perkins and/or replace Scott Brooks.. absolutes must haves or this fan base is going to lose it

@LPCes99 no one is saying we need to get rid of the second best player in the NBA.. we are saying that because he is the 2nd best player he must shoulder what he did, or didn't do tonight

good lord chill out.. no one is saying KD is some scrub player, but you cannot hand the guy a free pass when he goes 5-21 in a closeout game at home.. i love him, again, i love the guy and will back him all the way.. but lay the blame where it is due this game and Westbrook or no, KD had to step up and he missed some wide open attempts tonight.. some heavily contested, but several that were not and
