Oh, and the sooner the better. For you guys close to the team, do you think there is any real chance of something with Howard happening soon? Has this plunge changed any minds in the organization?

Yeh, blowing it up is clearly the right move. However, I'd just like to see them ship out Howard and go from there. Maybe get rid of Fat Baby as well. I had hope for this team. Still, I'd like to see this team play without Howard. Hard to put in words how much disgust I have for that guy. BIGGEST. PHONY. EVER. I'd love nothing more than to see the guys he loves to put down go on to success without him. Howard is making LeBron look like a saint.
Right now Jameer is no better than a decent back up PG. I'd love to know how many times he's fallen down the last three games. Seemingly two or three times a game.
Do you have any suggestions for a back up PG that the Magic could realistically get. Many have mentioned someone like Andre MIller but I can't see how that happens. Some guy under the radar. I know this would seem a bit crazy but someone like Goran Dragic. Super athlete, fearless and plays all out. Watched him play recently against Westbrook two games when Lowry was out and he held his own. He pushes the ball as well as anyone and I think the Magic would really benefit from someone pushing the ball. Makes some crazy decisions but he's no worse than Nelson. I would think someone like this would be possible. I know it's a stretch but Nelson is just awful right now. And as you say, I don't see him getting better.

@erivera7 Thank you. A question for you. Do you have a problem with the Magic offense when they try to "force" it in to Howard? I personally think this is questionable at best. Against good defensive bigs, this seems a losing strategy. Too many forced shots by Howard, too many turnovers and too many shots late in the clock. Thoughts and suggestion for improvement (if needed IYO) appreciated.

Anyone know where you can get a replay of this game? LP doesn't give replays on national games. I'd like to watch the end again.
I believe Synergy had Turk listed as having the highest conversion rate on PNR's in the league last year. His height is such an advantage in not only allowing him to see but in also allowing him to throw over the defense. Probably the best passer in the game at making the long pass in a half court set (although Rubio's pretty damn good.) That long cross court pass helps to create a lot of space in the middle.

You can't be serious about that Wolves trade, right? Why is it that every fan of a team assumes they can get rid of their garbage and get the other teams star? In what alternate universe would Miinesota do this? Now, through in Anderson for Duhon and you may have a trade. Maybe.
@CarloSimone Yes, beating GS at home is no mean feat. They were 26-15 last year at home for ninth best record in the league, only four less wins than the league best. This year they've already beat NY, Chicago and Miami there. So, yes this was a nice win. And I really don't think the defense was terrible. Look at the advanced box score. GS normally shoots 7-21 from 16-23 feet. Last night they were 15-26. So, they took a lot of bad shots. They jsut made a lot. Sure, defense needs work, but it was OK.

Admit it Eddy, You hate it when the Magic win. Must suck to cover a team you don't like.

@erivera7 I guess we see things differently. I'll agree with Otis. I like this team. So, two questions (assuming no Howard trade). Is the team better than last year? Where do you have them finishing in the EC and how many wins? Well. I guess that's three questions. I see them finishing second in the EC in a very tight race with the Bulls with 48 wins.

:"losses are going to start piling up". Total overreaction. Apart from Howard, with three players playing at a very high level, things are just fine. How many played that way last year? None, and losses didn't pile up then either. This team is quite a bit better than last year. The Bass trade helped because it allows the best PF to play and the boat anchor Arenas is gone. If the team concentrates on ball movement as they have in several games and doesn't just pound it in to Howard, this team is as good as any except Miami. Wait until after the Bulls game and then you start with the gloom and doom.
