@StanleyZantarski Incredible what Novak accomplished. You are right.
@cliffie Like Novak
@StanleyZantarski well said. i like it!
@IamAbraxas If it's about honestly speaking better to just say you dislike Djokovic than to say you like "versions" of him.
Has it been one article on match for Novak at AO? Or have we got all AP writings? I guess they can't be bothered with Novak at Tennis.com. Unless they would like to write about Novak Djokovic verse fans like Tignor who doesn't mention Novak's TENNIS.
@Lightforce i agree with you. Unprofessional comment.

Because being "the man" for Mr. Tignor would be if Wawarinka could take out Novak Djokovic for Rafael Nadal, Tignor's obviously favorite player.
Would he have same title if next match "Stan the man" could beat Nadal?

"Nadal takes on Kei Nishikori. In their five previous matches, Rafa has lost one set. And that was on grass. In 2008." So will be boring. Why people complain Nadal has such hard draw? Look at these successes of opponents with Nadal. Both Federer and Murray had horrible records with Nadal and Rafael can meet just one.

@mitab77 @Genetica97 @TryMyBest Gael Monfils made so many mistakes this match!
@JohnyStrange @skmind @FredricCantor I find them to be exact opposite as you described. Nadal is mundane and Djokovic is worldly.

@Rafessi The report on match is what promoted these kinds of commentaries. It is Tignor's fault for not writing about the tennis and writing about nitpicking one minute of frustration instead.
@jita65 Thank you to Jita for telling truth of matter. Not making exaggerations to soil Novak's character.
@Cris @Norrin Radd Well said.
@hallowed150 @Yolita I completely agree to. This is yellowed journalism at the worst.
@hallowed150 I agree!
@SandyDeMarco I agreee with you. It would be good for fans to read the statistic or shot analysis instead of on Novak's stare contest with crowd.
@LouisAyala @Rafessi berdych has won big occasions. he beat federer at wimbledon and at uso. he beat novak at wimbledon. same as tsonga beating federer in big occasions and once even rafa at australia. the others have not had as big wins but wawarinka has beat murray couple times at us slam. gasquet and ferrer seem to loose verse top guys most times.
@LouisAyala Wimbledon 2013 draw was close only move Del Potros with Wawarinka. people made big deal then to. But again the other side ends up being easier with Andy Murray reaching finals without playing top 20 guy and Novak had to play 2 tops 10s and #13 all in a row to make finals. Draw whiners need to quit.
@star79 @McSerb The website is very much Nadal one.

@Yolita Thank you for that statistic that proves better to wait and see instead of whining.

@Yolita @topspinner this part of roger fans and now rafa fans so true!
@shetlandluckyboy Tomic loose so badly to Del Potro, Federer loose to layton, and now monfil not even in rafa section. Better to wait.
@LouisAyala I agree with that one.
@topspinner @Kelly197214 As you showed they are not much different on paper. avergae rank is so close. the point is FORM, match ups, and how draw actually plays out. Why dread now? Just wait and see.
@eolenska @Kelly197214 THIS IS THE POINT! What are you all freaking about. We dont know what will happen when match play begins. All freaked out over Wimbledon draw and turned out Murray had easiest path to finals. tHAT IS POINT.
@jita65 @TOPSPINNER69 Exacly perfect reply.
@TOPSPINNER69 Full of hate.
@nicky1 very good comments from Nicky1. Exactly right that wawarinka could be more tough for Novak than Del Potro could for Nadal! Steve Tignor can be blinded by his fandom some of the time in his article writings.
@Paul Goldberg @Kelly197214 I agree with you 100%. So did Yolita. Point is that nadals fan making big stink of bad draw need to REMEMBER ALL THE BREAKS that happen to open draws wide even when they would look tough and draws looking easy can become very hard ones. WAIT and see is best bet
@ProudSerb @IamAbraxas @Kelly197214 @Yolita tHIS IS POINT SO MANY of these commentors are missing. FORM of player matters. Federer just lost to Layton, Murray lost to Ferrer, mayer, Tsonga in 2014 to now. Wawrinka just won TITLE! FORM people that is what would matter. not just past success.
@tennispompom @Kelly197214 It is from Yolita quote.
@IamAbraxas @Yolita You are incorrect. You said "it be a lot easier if a player were to be GUARANTEED not to face any of these players from the start because of the draw?" Nole is not guaranteed not to face any top 20 player before final that was the point yolita correctly made. He has stanislas wawarinka, tomas berdych, David Ferrer and others in top 20. That is fair. If they all loose and he did not face ANY top 20 players before finals then Novak would finally have lUCK others had before.
@Yolita Thanks to ms. yolita who always make so much clearer by talking with facts.
To repeat in quotation what YOLITA said that makes most sense here. Other players of "big 4" have gotten bigger breaks in draws than NOVAK.
Wimbledon 2008: Roger beat, on his way to the final, players ranked 273-41-53-27-43-75
Roland Garros 2012: Rafa beat, on his way to the final, players ranked 655-44-33-29-21-27
Wimbledon 2013: Andy beat, on his way to the final, players ranked 92-75-29-26-54-22
How many times has Novak made the finals of a grand slam without having to beat a single top 20 player? 0 (ZERO). Out of 12 finals...0."
@Crawdaddy FULL OF HATE
@Julio You must have forgot the US Open draw for Rafeal Nadal which was cakewalk.
@Peter Hermann @Kelly197214 What did that say to you?

@Dolcevita @Kelly197214 Read this for more information:
The average ranked players Rafael Nadal played in the Doha event were #67 ranking average. He did not have difficult competitors but lost some sets. It is hard to say Nadal is so great in form. Let's see him play better guys and we would know form.
Good luck for the 2014 Novak Djokovic!

@joepah Novak Djokovic has winning 11-8 head to head match with Andy Murray. He leads in slam match 3 to 2. he leads in masters series match 7 to 4. He leads in world tour final 1 to 0 wins. How this makes Mr. Murray some way Mr. Djokovic kryptonite? Please recheck facts.

@tennissunshine I agree with you the slam finals were boring. Roland Garros finals most boring of all on man and lady sides.
@Yolita @Carol35 I agree with you Yolita!
@x tina x I agree with you. Most anti-climactic boring slams were both finals at the Roland Garros.

Mr. Bodo forgets Roger Federer verse Mischa Zverev: 6-0, 6-0. Was there player on other side of net????
@skmind @Kelly197214 Mr. Tignor has no choice. Novak didnt give one. He was the best in the most exciting matches this year. No one can argue.

@Yolita @Norrin Radd tHAT is why it is weird Steve feels he has to pick the Roland Garros semis match for his top. It is because of Rafa win. That is all.
@noleisthebest A BABY REACTION.
@Mastoor @SandyDeMarco I agree with the ITF!
@Mastoor I agree with you. Novak Djokovic verse Juan Martin Del Potro was best match for me. It made history for longest semis at the Wimbledon slam. It was so exciting. Lot of winners and not to many errors. BEST MATCH OF SEASON.
@Dan It was not lucky escape. It was a champion's comeback. Big difference.
It is obvious Mr. Tignor was going to put the Rafael Nadal win at Roland Garros over Novak Djokovic as top one before list even started. That is his favorite player so he would for sure pick a win by him as best match.
It is most interesting to this poster that Novak Djokovic will be only player to be within the top 3 matches on the list - for Novak's fans most of all. :-)
@Yolita It was maybe match of the year to me.

@Yolita Well said and not nasty like so many.
@Jewell Crowd was pretty terrible
@x tina x No comparison needed.
@McSerb Mr. Tignor is biased McSerb.
@CLsCat2 I agree with you
@McSerb She is hater of Novak Djokovic. She never mentioned him in positive case.
@Yolita I agree with you
@mrinny Novak Djokovic played longest semifinals in Wimbledon history rinny so no he was not playing best of his level in finals. That's all you really need to know.
@Mastoor LOL Mastoor
Straight set? Would not include that 1 in best matches.
taking the time off from tour to improve game by pretending injury

Rafael Nadal tanked in Darcis match to have break and rest. Some error he made were crazy hitting ball to bottom of net. Roger Federer upset was better cause it was great match and Federer fought to get win. It was a better match.

@Yolita You make the strong support for David Ferrer Yolita. Roger Federer did not do to much better than Ferrer.
@x tina x I agree with you that Roland Garros finals were worst of year and then Wimbledon ones after that.
"while Lisicki, then ranked a lowly No. 23, beat three Grand Slam champions—Serena, Stosur, and Francesca Schiavone—as well as 2012 finalist Radwanska. While Bartoli brought her A-game to the final, Lisicki could not."
I agree with Mr. Bodo that the final was boring and to bad such lopsided draw is because of it.
Same happened on men side with Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Jo-Willfred Tsonga and other ones all loosing early and other side had the tougher battles with Grigor Dimitrov, Tommy Haas, Tomas Berdych and Juan Martin Del Potro all against Novak Djokovic. Final on men's side was to lopsided also. Both of Wimbledon finals were not to exciting.
