No different than all the fake Bob McKenzie, Nick Kypreos and Pierre LeBrun accounts that show up on NHL trade deadline and free agent days.

Actually, in terms of this discussion the Blue Jays don't exist.  None of the US networks will carry a Jays game because they only get ratings from one city unless they have to carry them in the playoffs.

They seem to be mailing it in as far as NASCAR coverage goes.  Their daily studio show airs at 2 am Eastern or does it go on at all?

You mean like Sunday Ticket which is exclusive to DirecTV in the US?  So if you live outside your favourite team's market, you have to pay for DirecTV AND Sunday Ticket.  What's free about that?

RaceHub probably remains because it was left over from the SPEED days and it is a known entity.

Gronk is an improv comedian in his spare time or will he be a human prop for Colin Mochrie et al?

Not too long ago I worked third party technical/billing support for Comcast for their Philadelphia/NJ region customers.  The New Jersey State Police issued an Amber Alert for a missing child.

Had a customer call in and complain that the Amber Alert was interrupting his show and wanted a credit.  I refused because Comcast is obligated to disseminate the information to help find the missing child.

We went back and forth for a little while when he said "I have kids of my own"

Really?  If one of your kids went missing, you wouldn't want as many people as possible knowing about it and keeping their eyes open to find your missing child.

He finally asked for a manager who caved in and gave him a credit for 1 day of service.

There is something similar happening in Toronto.  Bob McCown has a 3 hour show.  First 2 hours are a local show.  The last hour is a syndicated, simulcast national show.      So maybe Francesa can do a national show on FS1 from 1-4 and then a local show until 630?

8 months, 2 weeks ago on Mike Francesa reportedly joining Fox Sports 1

So Francesa airs on WFAN from 1-630?  Where would his show air on FS1?  They have Fox Soccer Daily at 330.  NASCAR Racehub at 4, Crowd Goes Wild at 5, Fox Football Daily at 6.
So either the show is switched from FS1 to FS2 halfway or the entire show airs on FS2 which isn't in as many homes.

@DerringerEagle I have no use for Bettman but if NBC wants to hire talent for their NHL coverage they don't need TSN losing the tv rights to write a cheque.

I wonder if TSN will go after regional rights for the teams they don't already have in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa?

I am comparing this to when Fox outbid CBS for NFL rights way back when.  I figured it would be CBC that would on the outside looking in.
