Lions fans are happy in defeat because they will finally fire
their HC. Giants fans are sad after this victory because NYG
management aren't going to fire their coaches..... :(

I've said for a long time that there must be a reason the NYG's
have so many injuries and I also believe that it's the strength and
conditioning coach. I also agree that Eli needs to get a new QB
coach. His bad habit used to be OCCAISIONALLY throwing off his back
foot, but now it seems like the only way he throws a ball, hence all
the interceptions. A new QB coach will instill better footwork on
Eli's part or I am afraid his decline will just continue.
@I Bleed Blue
How can Eli like a coach like KG who constantly puts in terrible plays? I'd sure push for a new OC if I were Eli because things can only get worse if KG stays.

The team quit on TC and all the coaches. changes have to be made with the coaching staff, otherwise things will be the same in 2014. Definition of insanity is: "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result". The Giants are doing the same things every game so we get the same result....lousy football.
Actually, mayor, I think we all "get it". Nothing will change until a new coaching staff and a GM are installed. However, Mara and Tisch won't make that extreme move because their is NO financial enticement to make them go in that direction. A waiting list for season tickets will do that for a team's ownership!

@buljos @capt george
KG would take even the best O-Line and make it mediocre with his inept play calling.
I keep hearing we can't lose Nicks
because we need a stud #1 receiver. Who says the Giants can't
find/draft another #1 receiver? And, I thought Cruz was the Giants #1
receiver? Why else did the Giants sign him to the huge deal he got at
the beginning of the season?
To everyone that says, “Our offense
sucks because of poor O-line play”, a good OC would take that into
account and call plays that play into the O-line's strengths.
Unfortunately, KG does NOT know how to adapt to the level of talent
he has on the field and just continues to blindly send in his script
of plays. Even if we had a good O-line, our offense wouldn't be much
better because KG's plays are so old school that defenses already
know what's coming their way and easily defense the play calling.
The world would be perfect if PF was the third leg of the trio that is never on the NYG sidelines again! :-)
I just read a story that Houston Texans are interested in talking to Gilbride about their HC job! Wouldn't that be great if he took that job!!

@Paddlepedal @capt george If the Giants lose out, I think it forces the Giants to make coaching changes, which they really need to do. Nothing will change if you keep the same coaching staff. Just look at what happened at Philly and KC. They change coaches and their teams are playing good football. The Giants players are professionals all day long, however, even a professional can start to believe deep down that keeping the status quo is just that....no changes = no improvement for the Giants. TC had his run, time to bring in a good HD that will put back the run in Giant football and develop a top 10 defense. THAT is NY Giants football, not the pass happy offense they use now....
@CommanderShepard @mkdrep Yes, I can root for them to lose because I know it's the best thing for our team this season. a 6-10 record won't help us at all....not like a 4-12 record would...coaching changes, better draft position at 4-12, etc., etc.
Agree 100%...no more wins!
@I Bleed Blue the game has passed KG bye....no doubt about it in my mind. As I've stated before, if the Giants had not went on the incredible run they did and won the SB at the end of 2011 season the coaches would have been fired then or certainly after last year. It's time for the Mara's to bite the bullett and fire TC and his staff.

@buljos @mkdrep While we were watching the game I told him I wish they would take Vince Lombardi's motto regarding runnning the ball "we'll run it again and again until they stop it". Too often Killdrive trys to "outsmart" the defense when the situation doesn't call for it. Just keep on doing what works.... We need a new HC and coaches that have the balls to do that...TC has demonstrated time and time again that he doesn't believe in the strenght of the NYG running game. It used to be we ran the ball to set up the pass, now we pass the ball and hope to run it once in awhile....
@buljos I threw up my breakfast when I read that you'd promote Killdrive to HC. He already proved he's an even worse HC than an OC when he was the Chargers HC. If it's TC's offensive scheme, then he needs to be fired as well.
@pdmeyerh I agree that Eli has not played at a high level. It seems like it started on the first play of the first game where he threw a pick 6 to the Cowboys offensive lineman on a draw play. He seems to have lost his confidence in any receiver not named Nicks or Cruz. No running game (at least until Brown came back) hasn't helped him either. Defenses are just loading the box with 9 guys and daring Eli to throw....which has led to too many picks....He needs some new coaches with some new ideas to make the game more interesting to him. I think he's way too board with the same game plan, week after week.....
The NFL offensive scheme has passed KG bye. I want the Giants to lose out the rest of the season so management will be FORCED to make coaching changes. I am ok with TC staying but KG must go. TC needs to bring in a younger OC with new ideas and a new strength/conditioning coach to address all these injuries the Giants have been experiencing the past few years.
The stupid penalties I think are a direct result of a "kinder" TC. He would have fined the heck out of anyone who made a stupid penalty "back in the day" but he doesn't want to "lose his team" by reverting back to a tough disciplinarian. However, he's going to lose his team (and possibly his job) if he doesn't.
